I have always quite enjoyed Pokemon, ever since I was a kid. I'm almost 21 and I still love the little guys. I was looking up Pikachu pictures and found some really funny ones I have never seen. Here they are because I thought they were awesome, funny, creepy, and worth sharing:

I have a new album up online. Pioneers is available, in its entirety, to be listened and also downloaded. To download, click on the Pioneers album cover in the left side bar box. As always, my music is free for everyone. This is my 13th internet release, and my 3rd full length release. I hope you enjoy it!
I started this album in January 2009 and finished it in April 2009. At the time, life was pretty tough on me. I won't go into details, but this album shows the pains I was going through, and also the hopes for change and something better. The songs aren't in order of creation, but if you listen close enough, you may figure out which started as the darkest time and which ended on the happiest time.
For me, music is basically transcendent emotion. I don't have to really use actual words to show what I'm going through. And even when I do, in music, the feelings are sometimes multiplied and easier portrayed than just talking alone.
But as always, creating this music was a blast! I hope you like it! Let me know of any comments and thoughts about this album. I'd appreciate it a lot!I only have lyrics for one song because they are the only lyrics I have typed up on my computer, haha. Enjoy! Again, Life Is Jutting Under:
What do you see when you
look around and see these eyes looking back at you?
Is there something there?
When you look around, what do you think about?
Do you think about me? Do
you think about me? Do you think about me?
What can I do to convince you that I could be right for you?
Maybe think about me? Maybe
think about me? Maybe think about me?
Just count to ten, and think about it, for just a second, I dare ask for more.
I'll give you the world,
I'll give you the universe, because from what I can tell, you deserve it all.
I want to hop on a train with you and ride into the setting sun, where, no one
could bother us, where, we could get away from all of this.
Just take my hand and let's go, just trust in me like I, trust in this
happiness between us, in our happiness
Whenever I'm around, what do you think about?
Do you think about us? Do
you think about us? Do you think about us?
What can I do to convince
you that I could be right for you?
Maybe think about us? Maybe
think about us? Maybe think about us?

I was so close to losing my mind. I thought I might have been wrong. I thought that I was overreacting. I was manipulated. I woke up and I jumped up. I was right and I was just. I stuck true to my feelings. I stuck true to my values. I came out on the other side. I came out stronger than before. I hurt and am shocked. But, I see the other end. I'm going to be okay. I'm better than this. I know that I have to go through this. Why? Because I'm meant for something better. I'm meant for great things. Why? Because I'm determined and I'm just. I am reckless yet relentless.

Before I tell you about my night I must first tell you how I have been feeling as of late. For the last week or so (maybe even longer, I can not be sure) I have been feeling anxious, agitated, in a way unsettled. There's no reason for it and it's been quite bothersome. The feeling I cannot shake and yet I do not think it will be quelled for some time. Anyways, let's just say I've been waiting for something, with that thing being nothing at all. It's a very overpowering feeling.
Now to last night. I had my radio show last night at 6 pm. I felt kind of upset that I couldn't go outside to play music with Andrew and some other fellows, but I had my show to do, and I did not want to let the handful of friends listening down. (All of whom I thank graciously.) My first radio show when well and I can't wait for next week's show.
When my show was over and I was walking back to my dorm, a Mr. Ben Saunders and a Ms. Marion Carr stopped me along the way. "Come with us, come with us!" they exclaimed. I wondered as to where to and I was answered with, "to a show!" I had not been to any shows recently and have been feeling the lack of musical entertainment in my life, so I allowed them to convince me to go.
A cramped 45 minute car ride and an arrival in Vienna proved almost to be a bad decision for going, considering my 90 minute ride to Fredericksburg occurred just over 3 hours earlier. The six of us (Nate, Ryan, Jennifer, Ben, Marion, and I) exited the car with cramped bodies which seemed to thirst for the open spaces of pavement and asphalt. There Jennifer met with friends of hers and I was graced with the presence of a Ms. Cassie Banana. We entered Jammin' Java, some expecting much, some expecting nothing at all.
I have never been to the Jammin' Java and I have also never heard of the bands I was about to witness. I did not know what I had gotten myself into, but what a pleasant surprise it turned out to be! The greatest surprise to be exact!
The bands that played were MEGAFAUN and the AKRON FAMILY. The former band opened with a few songs, which blew my mind. The sound the three dudes produced was immense for it being such a small contigent. This however did not prepare me for the forthcoming shattering of my world as I knew it at the time.
The two bands played together. They performed together. They took everyone in the room to another place, together. Six people and dozens of instruments proved enough to blow my mind for the rest of this week and probably the next few weeks to come. It was amazing to say the least. I had witnessed something greater than I could have ever imagined. All of us who went, realized this. When it was all happening, I knew that I would never experience such a thing again. The set lasted for two and a half hours. It was jam band greatness, all flowing out, into my ears, showing me new light, once again sparking my life!
The wonders of music have yet to amaze me, my friends.
Moral of the story: do something spur of the moment, it may come out to be more worthy then you have ever imagined.
GODSPEED!

On Purpose, Life, and Death: Purpose is allowed to occur, but everything exists without a purpose. I can attach the universe with the purpose of allowing all to exist, however, what would it matter that it has a purpose? Whether it has a purpose or not, it will continue to exist. Humans have an unshakable need to answer questions like what? who? when? where? how? and why? In actuality, there is no need to. Probably one of our biggest flaws is such; categorizing and defining everything we discover. We don't take things for what they're worth. To explain why there is no purpose to all, I must talk of life and death. There is a perfect quote to set the mood of this dissertation, "All that lives dies." I heard it twice yesterday. Why? Most likely because it's a given. After life is death. There's no doubt that it's intimidating to think that once again we are to be nothing, like before our births, but that's how it goes. There is no afterlife in terms of still living after death, be it in heaven or in another dimension. Whatever dies, returns to whence it came from. Plants, animals, humans; they all die and return to the Earth to once again promote life. Our remains feed the plants' need for growth, allowing a sort of rebirth in new plants, which then feed animals and etc. etc. Life continues after death, but not in the sense that individual specimens remain. We live, we die. There's no purpose but to continue the cycle. Death allows life, while life leads to death. It's like the creation of stars and their solar systems. A star is created from two galaxies, colliding with one another, destroying those galaxies. When the star is created, it goes on to release the materials that form planets. When stars die, they let of material once again, leading to more rebirthing. It is an infinite cycle within the depths of time. And as time is infinite, there would be a suggestion of no purpose. I could say, "I'm going to do this action for the purpose of reaching this goal," but in the infinite scope of time, there are no goals to be had, thus eliminating all possible purposes. And that right there is the beauty of it all. Creation and destruction exist because of each other. There is no purpose! If we want purpose in our lives, we can give it to ourselves. Being in control of one's life is the most glorious thing we as humans can do because that would imply the most awesome sense of self-dependence. We as humans have the opportunity of such freedom, to being able to rely on oneself without looking for the comforts of what is false. We can define who we are. We don't exist because something else exists; we exist because something existed. Just like we assign roles and purposes for organisms in an ecosystem, each galaxy has that same effect in the universe. The organisms coexist; the galaxies coexist. There is no purpose for that, except for continuing with the cycle of life and death. Just like a gorgeous woman, the entirety of the universe is stunning. Do we look at the woman and question her purpose for being beautiful? No, we simply take in her beauty for what it's worth. It should be the same for the universe. There is no purpose, but it's all just as remarkable. Everything is without purpose, but everything is beautiful.

On Definition of a Higher Being: The main view people have on a higher being, higher power, God, and etc. can only be incorrect. The idea of what this higher power is defined as or viewed as in wrong. People view it as a single entity that is all powerful, all benevolent, and all knowing. In an attempt to perceive our beginnings, these qualities were quick to be attached. It's possible the idea of a god was constructed to appease difficult questions no one could answer, but the generation of this higher power's traits were wrongly created. Thus, the formation of this higher power has led to the deception of all who believe in this way of thinking. Alas, I stray from my point on correcting the definition of a higher being. The creation of all we know was not created by a god but by the universe itself. To prove this point, the notion of time must be considered. The attributes we assign to time are incorrect. Time is non-linear, circular, and infinite. The major idea of time being linear, having a beginning and an end, would only contradict the idea of an uncaused cause, an unmoved mover, God. Stating there has to be a single cause of everything would suggest a cause of that cause. However that is not accepting. Instead it is right to think that a single being or entity, acting as the cause of everything, is illogical. More reasonably, the universe was and has always been here within the infinite depths of time. When the process of creation reaches the correct composition of elements, formation ensues. This process does not occur by a god, unless you consider this god, the universe. A higher being it is not; it doesn't willingly establish the creation of things, it just happens when the elemental composition is right. It is easy to see how the idea of a god could be derived from the notion of an infinite universe; however the idea of God is far from the possible original intent. The universe creates all, continually setting things into motion, where all that is created is no longer influenced by the universe, aside from it's other creations. There is no mystical hand creating with a purpose or intent. Like I formally said, the universe has always been here and will always be here. It is not a higher power, it is just always there; it has no characteristic essence. It will remain, while creation and destruction will freely continue along their paths. The universe is what enables existence.
