It will shock, piss you off, or make you laugh histerically!
A spoof on the serious matter of what will Barack Obama do for America if he is elected.

This is the 2nd round of the Emergenza Festival, an international battle of the bands.
OK, so here's the info on the party bus from Aurora, IL to the Elbo Room Chicago on Feb 9th!
Let me know a time/day we can hook up for tickets. Maybe at Headstone or Doug's???
There are only 50 seats available , and they're filling up FAST!!!
TOTAL COST: It's going to be $25 per person which will include the ticket to get into Elbo Room, the bus ride, and a keg on the bus.
PICKUP TIME: Will be 6 PM on Saturday, Feb 9th and the bus will get you back to Aurora by 11-11:30ish.
LOCATION: Tentatively, will be the parking lot on Indian Trail by the Driver License Facility and Doug's American bar and grill. (Please park along Indian Trail to allow patron parking for Doug's customers.)
PAYMENT: We will need to get non-refundable payment* up-front by Sat, Jan. 26th.
*Once we tear the Elbo Room ticket out of the book, we are responsible for the $10, and the bus is being paid in full up-front out of my pocket. So that's why we can't do refunds for no-shows, illness, etc., and DON'T LOSE yout ticket for the Elbo Room or you'll have to buy another one for $10. Sorry.
Also, please clean up after yourselves and dispose of any cups, cans etc. as we will need to get our deposit back from the bus company.

Who Cares moves to the next round of Emergenza!!!
The Emergenza Festival is an international competition that involves bands from major cities all over the world. In Chicago, bands do two rounds at the Elbo Room. Then they go on to the Double Door where they are judged by a panl of judges. Finally, the best bands go to the Metro for the Chicago title. The winning band in Chicago joins the other bands from around the world to play in Germany at the world's largest outdoor festival.
We had an excellent turnout last night at the Elbo Room Chicago, and it was really an amazing night.
We had SO MANY votes from fellow bands and their fans-- the ones that won and even the ones that didn't this time around.
You fellow Chicago area bands have LOTS OF CLASS, and we really, really appreciate your supporting us.
It was a truly amazing night, and we really enjoyed playing with you all, and especially enjoyed playing for all the great fans out there!
On to the next round!...
See you in February sometime.

Just wanted to give an update...
The Band Who Cares is recording some really good original material.
It has been going amazingly well, but we are taking the amount of time to do it right and to record enough songs (hopefully) for a full CD.
We are psyched and can't wait to let you all hear it.
Once we are a bit closer to finished, we will start booking shows and a CD release party to kick it off.

you can pretend in your mind I don't exist living your life in a facade knowing that I know what you really are
maybe I'm mistaken, and was never really born
you can pretend in your heart there's some sort of spark to life I can pretend in my mind I don't exist
