I'm sure most of you are asking yourself right now, "Isn't this a little early for fundraising to begin?" Well, the answer is no. SBG has HUGE things planned for 2009 but we can't do it without $$$. We need your help. I know most of you are strapped for cash like the rest of us. Not all of us are lucky enough to make 6 figure incomes. But, I also know that you love SBG as much as the rest of us.
This is why we have 2 different opportunities for you to help us out.

Opportunity 1
Brittany Morrow has generously offered to help SBG Raise money for Breast Cancer Research.
RIDE Ribbons, by Queen B. are a special way for women who ride to show their support of the fight against breast cancer. The top quality satin ribbons feature the classic pink breast cancer coloring, and are adorned with the letters RIDE in beautiful rhinestone charms. The letters feature top quality Swarovski Crystals that are guaranteed to be 100% clear and have no discoloration. The surgical stainless steel that the crystals are housed in is guaranteed not to tarnish and is very soft to the touch for skin contact. The ribbons come 30 inches long, so they can be used in a number of ways: necklaces, bracelets, anklets, key chain charms, rear view mirror decoration, or can be tied to almost anything you can imagine. The charms are removable in case you choose to wash or replace your ribbon, and can slide freely so you can create a completely custom look! ALL PROCEEDS GOING TO THE 2009 RALLY/BREAST CANCER FUND.

Each Ribbon is $20 and well worth every penny!! You can use your paypal, or a debit/credit card if you don't have a paypal account. Just click the "BUY NOW" link below and you can order any number of ribbons you want. Make sure your address is correct.

THANKS AGAIN EVERYONE! HOORAY FOR SBG!

BUY RIDE RIBBONS NOW!
Opportunity 2

It only takes $5 to make a difference in the fight to find a cure for breast cancer. Thousands of women and men lose thier lives each year because of this disease.

This year Sportbikegurls.com wants to make a huge difference!
If all of our friends and members were to donate just $5 toward our rally for a cure we could make a wonderful donation this year and really help Breast Cancer Research!

Starting today 9/3/ 2008 we will begin our $5 dollars for a Cure Campaign!
You can use our donate system here on the forum via this link
http://www.sportbikegurls.com/forums/misc.php?do=donate
All donations we recieve will be combined and put towards our 2009 donation for Breast Cancer Research
Paypal is the best way to donate!
Our Paypal is sportbikegurls@gmail.com
$5 dollars isn't alot of money.....think about it!
Now, you can choose to participate in both opportunities if you like or just one. The decision is yours. But we really need your help. We want to be able to raise at least $3000 to donate to the National Breast Cancer Foundation. It will also cost roughly $3,000 to put on the Rally.

So, as you can see, it will take us a while to reach our goals. This is where you come in. Send in your $5 or buy a ribbon. We will take any donations we can get! We're not picky!!! Buy a ribbon or send us $5 or do both;either way, you will be helping SBG become bigger and better and kicking butt to help fight breast cancer.

I want to thank all of the ladies for submitting their entries to be the SBG babe of the month.

We've chosen our very first Babe of the Month. Our BOM for October is Bekah:

Heres some info about Bekah

My Name is Rebekah (Bekah)
I am 34.
Lately I've been riding an 08" Concourse 1400 since I sold my 04" ZZR600.
I am looking at the new BMW K1200R maybe by Spring.

What I love about riding? Well it used to be a simple answer but in the
past 15 months I have come to rethink it. I love of course the freedom
and the power I get on the bike. The excuse to get out not because I
have or need to go somewhere in particular but just to go. I love
working on my bike and doing the mods myself. I get a lot of
satisfaction from knowing that I did it myself and that I know more
about a bike that where the throttle is. But the biggest reason I love
riding is the way it has changed my whole out look on life. I no longer
live to make more money or to advance in a career but to have a job that
pays enough to be able to put gas in the tank and take the time off to
get out and enjoy life. I have met the best people I have ever known
from riding. I never knew I could have so much family I had never met.
And it has created a lifestyle that has brought my husband and I closer
than ever by giving us a common love of riding and just being out there.

Ok, maybe it's a little thick but I really do live to ride!

Don't worry ladies, all of our submissions will be included in the months to follow. Stay with us and you may be the next face of SportbikeGurls
