With 2 years of existence DAGGERS is a relative young band, yet they know what they are aiming for.
Each show more souls gather at these intense live performances and Daggers have already proven to
be one of the most promising Belgian hardcore bands of the moment.
After their first collaboration with Ben Philips they now recorded their first full length with him.
This new record turned out to be also an uncompromising and pitch black piece of dark thoughts.
It will tear down all false hope the world is feeding on.

Along the Acheron” will be released on the mighty Anchor Aweigh Records.
With this release the band is ready to take the next step up, a life dedicated to being on the road throughout Europe.
Ready to give their life and soul to this, Daggers will tour as much as possible to promote this monster.
Also being one of Anchors Aweigh Record’s latest additions, LIGHTHOUSE is ready to spread
their crushing & complex, yet melodic take on the genre with their recently released debut „Abyssus Abyssum Invocat“.
Fusing cold harmonies with the sonic havoc of entirely cranked up amplifiers this five piece will leave you numb and agitated.

Now with their debut Album "Abyssus Abyssum Invocat“ to be released on Anchors Aweigh Records this five piece is ready to spread their crushing & complex, yet melodic take on the genre. dear promoters,

RITUAL have been touring all over Europe for the last three years. 2009

will see these young men go about another touring offensive in support of

their brand new and much anticipated new album 'Beneath Aging Flesh and

Bone' released by Reflections Records. This record can be considered a

statement against a mental and emotional downfall, which can not only be

discovered in our society, but in the hardcore punk scene as well. In the

spirit of our age, where life is defined by numbers and not by values;

where information is gained through eating what you are being fed and not

through thinking, RITUAL is set to be an inspiration for a new state of

mind and a new state of heart.

RITUAL will be supported by Augsburg's very own LIGHTHOUSE. These lads are

going to release an EP on the well reputed labels Anchors Aweigh Records

and Day by Day Records in spring 2009. LIGHTHOUSE transform the conflicts

of growing older into a furious mixture of the emotion of recent hardcore

acts such as MODERN LIFE IS WAR with the self-destructive nihilistic

spirit of early 80ies punk bands such as BLACK FLAG. Keep your eyes open

for this promising band!

we are happy to finally have our studio time booked at the notoriouslyknown TONMEISTEREI(new Ritual LP, Perth Express, The Now Denial,Tephra...to name a few).
To us it felt like this release was just not meant to ever happen. I am sure we were wrong.(lets hope)
Itwill be released on Day by Day Records by Anselm(the dude that inventedthe word "sickish" and made it go around the world) on vinyl. We dontknow what it will be, 7"-10"-12" whatever, but it ll be on vinyl.
Anyway, this is where we will stay and what we ll be working with:

we are hoping for a release before summer.
cheers.

Current mood:  refreshed
Its been a long time since an update or any news regarding LIGHTHOUSE.
yes, we are alive. all of of us are fine and you ll wish we had never been summoned from our temporary graves again. we got our shit together and are working on lots of things as we speak.

first things first:
somehow we were out of luck when it comes to studiotime and recording in general so after postponing the release of our 7" for ages we still have no exact idea to when this will be released(letalone recording the whole thing).
After a last minute cancellation we had to cancel our trip to the UK and were left without proper recordings of our new material.
we decided to gear up and do it DIY-style which failed due to our perfectionist members.
it was a big hassle to find out that we were not happy with the outcome of our recordings so it is basically rotting on a dvd forever.

summer was a big bummer because we had to cancel a few shows + Light In The Dark Fest. we ll make it up to everyone that wanted to see us. more than half of us werent even in the country and tons of stuff had to be settled which we can finally lay to rest.

we are back to routine of practicing tons and writing new material.
we have already completed some news songs and we re sure they ll be a kick to a lot of people's heads. expect the unexpected.

we are currently looking for a suitable studio to finally get some studiotime ASAP.

we ll stay locked up in our rehearsal space til then and we ll show up on your local stage soon after
.
we ll keep you posted on future shows or any other news regarding the band.

Thanks.
