MANIAK "Black Thrashing Genocide"

Advance Copy for Debut Album
Review by: Cyclonus Serpentiis (TRIDENT NATION FANZINE)
Beyond the protocol of mandatory anticipation, I had the privilege of reviewing the MANIAK debut album in advance sent by long time goat-komrade & co-perversor, Obispo. What can I say? Through "Black Thrashing Genocide", everything that MANIAK underwent after sulphur-evolving the songs from the split ep & cd, it all bled into one circum-necrogenesis of re-brutalizing the blackness in Thrash Metal on their own formidable stand. Perhaps the late addition of former KORIHOR beast-wielding hell stringer Abhor is the last remaining pieces of the panzer-dynamic multiple sonic-attacks that blast everything from different assaulting directions endowing it with well-accomplished bone-wrenching tracks that the band conquered as their own. Nothing can be put as technical on the riffs that were pulled out from the clandestine Thrash Metal tablatures. These were put into good usage, extracting guitar leads into proper signature chords where the hymns loathe self-replicating! arrangements.  A rhythm that harks an ill-tempered outline clasping with a maleficent audio that rains down from your speakers. I am glad that everything is starting to detonate for MANIAK through this debut. From the poisonous-drooling of "Tang Ina Nyo" ("Fuck It" on a native dialect blasphemization), "Black Thrashing Genocide", "Headbangers of Steel" down to the gall-infested intolerance of "Goatbangers from Hell" all up to vaporize your soul with bestial Black Thrash lock n' loaded with a raw fire-power production. Smiter of the holy…their last emergence unknown, fulfills the oath of being the southern demolisher of Impiernos Filipinas.
