Good Eve.
I'm not sure who all reads this space here.
it seems like we're all so spread thin out over the interwebs, on all these accounts..
I'm wondering when the day will come when this is boring and we can get back to non-digital lives.. maybe that is not going to happen any time soon.
- So I'm being a bit authentic, genuine and sincere here, in this post. I feel that is a something that's getting really lost in our culture. It seems like everything can be a blur and it's hard to tell what is "real " or not. So many of us are caught up in so many distractions, of entertainment, lifestyles, and pursuits.
I'm feeling a big sense of "getting back to basics" tonight..
a sense of needing to slow down and experience in life the things that really matter.
I have a penchant for the superficial at times, I love visual imagery, but all in all , at the end of the day, the things that matter are not all the interesting things that are flashing at us 24/7 -- we become zombies and can't think , rationalize and reason common sense things..
So i'm feeling a call to reason, to clarity, to focus, to soul searching. Some of these things.. seem beyond cliche' to us these days.. But I say, now is a time to get back to who you are , the real you, aside from all that existential personality you may have accumulated. I think we need both. But if we don't know who we are at the core , we are truly lost .
Alot of you come from many different backgrounds, but i'd love your thoughts on this idea of being your "authentic self"
