These pics were taken at Boxwood Cemetery in Medina, NY in mid-October. This is the Montgomery family plot, my maternal Grandmother's family. It's pretty interesting that these pictures turned out this way. I took many pics of all the graves and this red squiggle only appears by my Great Grandparents' headstone. The red box is around my Great Grandma's side of the stone. Most importantly something pretty crazy happened that day. I had just found the cemetery that these ancestors were burried in online and Brandon and I decided to drive to Medina pretty spur of the moment. We got there with less than 45 minutes of daylight left and had no idea where to start looking. It was a pretty big cemetery and as we looped around the bid horseshoe drive we were trying to identify the older sections so that we could start looking there but it didn't seem like that plan was gonna work. It looked like there were new and old graves all over the place. So I said f it, and parked the car and got out. I started walking up the big hill that I parked at the bottome of. With my head down, I passed one grave, no not them...veared slightly to the right and looked up to see a stone further up the hill that appeared to say "Montgomery." So I continued up hill and sure enough it was my family's plot! So, after having no idea where to look in this big cemetery and having only been there for a few minutes max I found their plot! Or was seemingly lead to it! I have pictures that I took on my cell phone upon leaving that show the tombstone directly uphill from the front of my car. It was a pretty interesting experience.

I found this today and I love it. This story is perfect for me right now.
the Lesson of the Butterfly
A man found a cocoon of a butterfly. One day a small opening appeared, he sat and watched the butterfly for several hours as it struggled to force its body through that little hole. Then it seemed to stop making any progress. It appeared as if it had gotten as far as it could and it could go no further. So the man decided to help the butterfly by taking a pair of scissors and snipping off the remaining bit of the cocoon shell.
The butterfly then emerged easily, but had a swollen body and small shriveled wings. The man continued to watch the butterfly because he expected that, at any moment, the wings would enlarge and expand to be able to support the body, which would contract in time. Neither happened! In fact, the butterfly spent the rest of its life crawling around with a swollen body and shriveled wings. It never was able to fly.
What the man in his kindness and haste did not understand, was that the restricting cocoon shell and the struggle required for the butterfly to get through the tiny opening were its Creator's way of forcing fluid from the body of the butterfly into its wings so that it would be ready for flight once it achieved its freedom from the cocoon.
Sometimes struggles are exactly what we need in our life. If our Creator allowed us to go through life without any obstacles, it would cripple us. We would not be as strong as we should be if our abilities were tested without obstacles. We could never fly nor grow.
I asked for Strength.........And I was given Difficulties to make me strong. I asked for Wisdom.........And I was given Problems to solve. I asked for Prosperity.........And I was given Brain and Brawn to work. I asked for Courage.........And I was given Danger to overcome. I asked for Love.........And I was given Troubled people to help. I asked for Favors.........And I was given Opportunities.
I received nothing I wanted, and I received everything I needed.

I wanted to clarify some things about my resent blog, the interview with Ron Paul, and make sure that everyone gets the chance to see it. If you haven't checked this out I posted it about a week ago and will be blogging it soon, so go check it out : ) My intention isn't to be a fear monger at all and I understand that General Colin Powell's message can be interpreted differently. We may see a crisis that day, we might not, or there could be something that happens without most of us knowing. Like I said I don't want anyone to worry or panic; what I want aim for is for us all to be aware of some of these things and be prepared. The upcoming year, the first year of this presidency is going to be huge, so many important things are going to happen. We have been tricked, abused, and blatantly lied to for years and they are going to continue probably with much greater coercion. Every aspect of our society has been corrupted in their master plan, they have the media, the education system, the church and the list goes on. Things are happening and they're going to happen. The ideal of what "America" is, is dwindling quickly. But, I would like to make clear that I have the greatest of hope that the future of our country and world is going to be much brighter. I see people being able to take care of themselves, a greater degree of peace, a harmonious vibe throughout the greater part of society- something that we seldom feel today, and freedom.! So much is coming, so much is there we just have to reach out and grab it. A new world is ours if we want it. Imagine not having to worry about working at some menial, life sucking job, for long hard hours just to be able to feed a family or get a new outfit every once in awhile. Or, how about people being able to afford a decent car. All this isn't that far off, without all the unjust, unconstitutional taxes, this kind of reality would be easy to see. What happens when the majority really does have a greater feeling of hope? LET'S FIND OUT! How much more money and freedom would you have without taxes like inflation and the Federal Income tax that goes to paying off a nation debt that doesn't need to exist! I think that Gandhi said it best, "We must be the change we wish to see in the world." Micah put this image together and I love it!

This was brought to my attention and is an interview that EVERYONE NEEDS TO HEAR! This isn't the post that I said that I would put up in the last one(I'm working on that one still) but it is relevant! Congressman Ron Paul who ran for president this past election, in an interview with Alex Jones. They talk about the economy and about what General Colin Powell says about us having a "crisis" on January 21st or 22nd. ( http://www. youtube. com/watch?v=f9_xuUALI2M) Keep in mind that Congressman Ron Paul was warning people about our current financial crisis long before we saw it coming. PART 2 Some key point: *They are talking about an international monetary system and a world central bank. Those that handle the money handle all the resources, the military and the government. *New Stock Taxes *Bankrupting the Coal Industry *People are calling Obama a savior and the president of the world, scary Barrack Obama's campaign was HEAVILY funded by corporate business leaders and its probably safe to assume that he has promised to support their interests, whatever they may be. Isn't it plain to see by now that our country is run by these "multinational corporations!" Not to mention the many people in our government that have duel citizenship with Israel. Their not representing "We the People," the majority doesn't care about the everyday citizen at all! This is not good. They have been plotting and building this thing for years and I'm telling you, they are going to fuck us over. There is no gentler way of putting it, its time to stand up or start saying good-bye to whatever sovereignty we have left. Individual, State, United States, whatever...for years we have allowed them to rob us of our money, rights, freedom of speech...the list goes on and on until we stop it. Any system is subject to corruption and a democracy isn't going to work in a country comprised of ignorant and apathetic people. I can't avoid some striking parallels this has to Woodrow Wilson becoming president in 1913. He was funded by bankers who were trying to create the Federal Reserve, the system that has ours nation in insurmountable debt. I did say insurmountable. Because with this system, we have NO MONEY. Woodrow Wilson's backing of the Federal Reserve Bill is one of the greatest tragedies that our country has seen. I refer you to this quote from him that expresses the great regret that he felt for doing this! "I am a most unhappy man. I have unwittingly ruined my country. A great industrial nation is controlled by its system of credit. Our system of credit is concentrated. The growth of the nation, therefore, and all our activities are in the hands of a few men. We have come to be one of the worst ruled, one of the most completely controlled and dominated Governments in the civilized world no longer a Government by free opinion, no longer a Government by conviction and the vote of the majority, but a Government by the opinion and duress of a small group of dominant men." -Woodrow Wilson, after signing the Federal Reserve into existence There is so much to be learned from history, they use the same tactics over and over again. What is it to be virginal? Pure? I ask myself these question as I assess my proverbial rape And am overtaken by such a dirty feeling that I can not wash it away
This flesh wound is a burden to my soul I must free myself from this stigma So I begin to dig away at my skin
Layer by Layer I expose myself The air stings my tender body, Fresh and Pink and New to this World!
But I stare at the reflection of a face that I do not recognize And Can't Stand to Look At
I dig my nails into my face Exclaiming, "I will not be your victim!" I frantically rip it away piece by piece Dropping it into the basin below Its white porcelain now covered in blood
I let out a sigh of relief and catch my breath No longer can I be silenced by your threats
But how will I explain this to the world? The world that looks at me and is disturbed, Seeing only a distorted figure
How will I tell them that this has made me pure That this has made me whole?

On 11/22/08 I gathered with fellow protesters in Buffalo taking part in a National End the Fed Rally. We were protesting the Federal Reserve, which is the organization owned by private investors (many of which are foreign) that prints our money and charges us interest on it. They are not regulated or held accountable to congress like it says in the constitution. They print more money all the time causing higher inflation and ruining the US dollar. Using this Central Banking system they can easily manipulate our society and control us through economics. 60 people were gathered in total and for six hours we were seen and heard by the people of Buffalo. We started early, 10 am, we stood bundled up in the freezing cold in Niagra Square with our signs in hand and chanted "End the Fed." When Micah and I first arrived there were twenty or so people. We introduced ourselves, it was great meeting new people that were passionate about this cause. Then little by little more and more people came! There was someone on a megaphone sharing facts about our monetary system and the federal reserve. There were people flying US flags and our signs carried many different messgaes. People were handing out pocket copies of the constitution, DVD's and various forms of written information. A news crew even came and took some pictures of us. Around 12:30 we took a warm-up/bathroom break and got some hot coffee. Then together we marched three miles to another park. A long the way we were able to do a little more mingling within the group and with the people on the street. We were asked question by many people and shared our cause with many more. I had a really cool conversation with a girl in the group that was younger than me but had been protesting for years. She shared with me some of her experiences both good and bad which helped bring this experience into perspective. After the long walk we reached our destination, a busy intersection. There, we stood on different corners. The sun was shinning a little warmer at this point and the walk had warmed us up quite a bit. There were people driving by and honking their horns in approval, giving us thumbs up and people who were stopped at the intersection reading our signs. We also got some middle fingers thrown at us but overall we were received very well. In a way the bitter cold of the day only added to how awesome this event was. There was a determination in the air that cut through the cold. 60 people young and old gathered for the same cause, to liberate our country and to share the truth that we are in dire need of a fair monetary system. We were united, all of us vibing off of each other's energy and a will to make change. It felt incredibly peaceful and positive. I met so many awesome people that day. And, countless people were exposed to our message. I can't wait to do it again and have all the hope in the world that our numbers will grow as people learn about what's going on. We were one group in a nation wide protest, I can't imagine what the national impact of this rally was! Here is a video that I found of NYC's 11/22 End the Fed Rally. But I don't think the animal inside of me will let me Time is a strange thing, Imprisoning my embodied spirit But never my soul! When will I be free, wise? When will they reconcile? OH TO THROW IT ALL ASIDE AND BE A FOOL! (sigh)Hhhhhh.....

I admit that I'm not that cool. I don't need to be. I like who I am though I long for so much more. I'm me, fairly plain, pretty simple but interesting. I don't need lots of fancy new gizmos and gadgets to make me happy, what I do need is people. I'm not saying that I couldn't be alone if need be but my longing for companionship is great. I'm alone so much, don't get me wrong I love being alone sometimes but for the most part I want to be sharing life with people! I hate being alone. I grew up in a house that was always full of people. I am one of six children that grew up under my parents' roof. We also had many visitors, there were some that came over on a daily basis. There were always people gathered around the kitchen table in conversation and I enjoyed that. Music was also always being played, weather it be the radio, some old records or my dad and his friends jamming. This is home to me, this is what family feels like.
From my experiences growing up, serving people has become inherent in me. I don't know if anything makes me happier than being able to do so. I can still tell you how most of my family and our friends take their coffee. I have developed my culinary and baking skills and I love cooking for people. You may already know that my dream is to have my own coffee shop and bakery, makes sense right? Well the other day I took this idea one further. I would love to have a huge house full of people. At least a few of us would live there at a time and there would be room for people to come stay whenever they wanted to. Kinda like a boarding house and as part of your stay I would provide a meal a day or something. And I think that I could still swing owning my own little shop too (unless I didn't need to). I guess I see myself as being kinda like Mrs.Lovett from Sweeney Todd. Another exciting aspect would be having different people around for conversation, inspiration and entertainment. I don't know where this place would be but it could be feasible right? I would love to have you all come and visit me or come to stay for awhile for a nominal fee or trade service. Maybe you could come work in my coffee shop!
I love all of you and I miss you! So often I wish that I could just come hang out. So any takers. Who's comin' to live with me???

Hello everyone. I'm writing today out of love for my country, out of love for you and out of hope for what is to come. I urge you to educate yourself to the activities of the decision makers of our country and of the world. This isn't as difficult as it sounds there are a number of resources out there. Start with a movie or a website and start learning the WHOLE TRUTH. I know that your busy but just take a little time out. Did you know that our federal income taxes are unconstitutional. And, that nice chunk of your paycheck that they take every week goes to virtually NOTHING! Its a scam to keep you in your place; there are no laws stating that you have to pay these taxes. Things like education and road construction are paid for by local and state taxes. I didn't believe it either, at first. This is all made quite clear in Aaron Russo's movie Freedom to Fascism. THEIR PLAN- A short exerpt from another recommended movie, Zeitgeist. Guys computer chips (like the one that they talk about in the video) I learned about recently in my marketing class! They use tiny computer chips to track our purchases, there on products that we buy everyday. In some grocery stores they record the way we react to things, they digitize our expressions and use them "for marketing research". If that isn't a violation of some basic human right then what is? There are many videos on youtube that talk about the North American Union. This is it America, this is our country like or not. These are the problems at hand. People are reacting in all kinds of ways to our recent economic problems. There is fear that we could be headed for further economic downslide, maybe even a depression. But I encourage you...don't be afraid! Start doing A LITTLE research and you'll begin to see the truth unfold before you. Let's start countering this thing before it gets worse! Let's get the word out... I encourage every American that wants to be free to stand up for their country and god given rights as human beings! Together we will make our stand and TOGETHER we can accomplish anything!
