Good morning everyone. You will be happy to know that since our return from L.A we have been busy in the Story One bunker preparing the next group of songs for your audible consumption. The 2 best songs we have ever written are being meticulously pieced together note by note beat by beat in Studios across London from Hoxton to Kentish Town.

Cos we have to work though to pay them bills, we've been recording at night and working during the day hence getting very little sleep, in fact I think G is about to crack!

Hopefully we will have these done by the end of the month and we will be releasing them as singles: The working titles are:

                                    'Anne -Marie' & 'Harvest Sun'

To hear them first please make it to the Charity gig that we're organising for Burma on the 8th July! All money is going to help those in need.

Hi guys,
We're in sunny LA, having a wicked time and meeting cool people.
Mike lost all his luggage thanks to BA and then got it back, but had to make some percussion instruments out of a water bottle and some risotto rice
Just had a BBQ with Ribs, Chicken wings, Carne Asada.

We're off out now to get some banana and bacon pancakes.

Oh yeah, we did a radio show for indie 103.1 yesterday.

Life is good

Buona sera,

We've just got back from Rome where we played a gig for the Pampero Rum Fundacion. It's a brand of rum from Venezuela and Italy that funds artists (bands, painters, video directors...) and make them meet other artists all around the world. Art and Rum, you can't go wrong really.

Rome is an amazing city. If you know us a bit you know we're obsessed with food and yes, the Romans can make pasta and pizza.

The gig went really well and we've met some really interesting and cool people.

I've put a few pictures on our page and I will add Mike's asap.

Our profile has also been updated. You can also now listen to our song Trebuchet from the Shadow Line and check a video of our new song "The Sun" played live for the 1st time at the Luminaire last month. Let us know what you think.

I wish you all a very pleasant week end and chat with all of you soon.

Ciao!

Hello and happy new year, again.

It seems our account was once again hacked and we've been sending you some good old fashion porn. Or were we hacked...?

Anyway I changed our password so it should be ok for now. I love myspace and will always stick by it against facebook but it's getting really frustrating to get 10 spam comments a day about who from school has a crush on you or a story of some friend who's getting her baps out... Myspace Tom should really sort it out.

Sorry about sending you some filth. See you all very soon and have a good week end.

Bisous

just wanted to wish everyone an excellent new year. i just got back from washington where i was mainly buyng trainers but also seeing my nephew and my brother. i also did a bit of getting addicted to maple syrup on everything, and american football is my new favourite sport. you might as well call me hank from now on.

i've literally just got back so i haven't heard from the guys yet, but assuming they're all still alive we are going to be busy over the next few months. the plan is to record 2 or 3 new songs around the end of january and get them up on myspace asap.

gigwise, we are playing the luminaire on the 16th January so please come along. we'll carry on with our usual run of london gigs but will try and get up to nottingham at some point too.

so i hope everyone had a brilliant christmas and the new years are going well.

see you all very very soon

Season's greetings everyone

G's back in Paris, Tom's on his way to Brittany, I'm basting a turkey and avoiding mince pies and Barny's out loitering around Santa's grottos. This can only mean one thing: Story One's favourite time of year.

We hope you like the Christmas song we posted. Please download it and send it to whoever you think may enjoy it. There will be a video coming soon as well.

Have an excellent Christmas, eat to excess and make sure you're not a careful present opener; rip it up. We'll be in touch when the food comas subside.

Festive love to everyone,

Mike and the Story One elves
