Been a looooong while shine we've posted an update. The Mad Marmot is keeping us busy with Con related things. Wanted to let you all know who our guests are this year:


L.E. MODESITT, JR. is the bestselling author of over forty novels
encompassing two science fiction series and three fantasy series, as
well as several other novels in the science fiction genre.


Steve’s been involved in the gaming industry for over a dozen years,
during which time he’s written, co-written, edited, or developed more
than 120 books. He got his start as a freelancer for Hero Games,
writing Dark Champions, The Ultimate Martial Artist, Watchers Of The
Dragon, and lots of other books and magazine articles.


Focus: As msnbc.com's science editor, Alan Boyle covers space
exploration and the physical sciences, plus scientific frills involving
dinosaurs, ruins and high-tech for the leading news site on the
Internet. He blogs regularly about all those subjects on Cosmic Log,
msnbc.com’s first Weblog (est. 2002).


John Picacio is an award-winning illustrator who has created covers for
works by Harlan Ellison, Michael Moorcock, Robert Silverberg, Neil
Gaiman, Joe R. Lansdale, Jeffrey Ford, Graham Joyce, Lucius Shepard,
Charles De Lint, David Gemmell, L.E. Modesitt, Jr., Frederik Pohl, Hal
Clement, and many, many more. John has been nominated for a Hugo for his 2008 Body of work!


Kathy Mar started her professional music career as a streetsinger and
folk artist in the clubs and coffeehouses of Denver and environs. That
is where she discovered filk and filk discovered her. Her first
recordings were on the Off-Centaur label where she did three solo
albums and additional songs on many other projects. She followed that
with two albums of more eclectic styles on Thor records.
