Whats good world? Just wanted to say thank you to all those who have supported the album. Whether it be by buying the album, coming to a show, telling a friend, using it in a dj mix, blogging or whatever. Its all much appreciated from me and the rest of the crew. Thanks for all the messages and comments on myspace, its definitely inspiring and reminds me how lucky I am to be doing what I do. I try to reply to all messages but im finding it hard to keep up with comment replies and friend request replies so forgive me if i havent got back to you on those.

Been doing some remix work for Ubiquity and Tru Thoughts so stayed tuned for more info. Also been doing my night 'Pause' @ Market Place every second sunday of the month. Ive had great fun at all of them so far and am looking forward to future sessions. Check the flyer for full details. If you are ever in London round that time drop by and say hello!

Catch u round soon,

Peace

Props to Andrew Meza & Straight No Chaser!!!

1. Nadsroic / Room Mist (LuckyMe)
Step to her the wrong way and she'll probably punch you in the throat. Singer/rapper, Nadsroic is the first lady of the LuckyMe crew, representing Glasgow. She's sophisticated and nasty at the same time. Stay tuned! A release should be hitting this summer with production carried out by Hudson Mohawke. Speaking of which…

2. Hudson Mohawke / Oops! EP (Wireblock x LuckyMe)
Finally these remixes are seeing official release! My brother Mohawke smacked this shit with a steel bat covered in medieval spikes. Flips of some well known R&B jams. Play it back to back to back to back and watch the syrup drip from the speakers.

3. Keyshia Cole / Shoulda Let You Go (Rustie Resmack) (CDR)
Rustie, the Chris Paul of the music game. One of the top players in the league and should be recognized a hell of a lot more. Instead, he quietly spawns chaos and breathes life into monsters. Check his Myspace and turn it up!

4. Jneiro Jarel / Violet Heart Box (CDR)
"I'm singing on this new record," he told me. I didn't pay it that much mind and figured he meant he'd be doing some funny Dudley Perkins style of vocals. I was dead wrong. This guy is letting it all out! Think Shape of Broad Minds fronted by Bilal…I mean, really. Dude is SINGING hard!

5. Eric Lau Feat. Tawiah / I Don't Do It To (Ubiquity)
Lau's a true producer and one of the most genuine guys I know. His new album has some of the most beautiful moments I've heard in years. He's also got some solid A&R skills. The selection of vocalists and musicians is top. Lau's going to be giving cats like ?uestlove a run for their money in the production department.

6. Exile / If You're Down (CDR)
Exile is easily one of the most underrated djs/producers. He's a beast on the MPC and consistent in his presentation. He hit me off with this track and the only thing I could do was leave it on repeat. Ex can crank out shit for Mobb Deep, then hit you with something heavenly like this. Get em'!

7. Quasimoto / The Unseen LP (Stones Throw)
"I'm always looking under some girl's dress!" This is my favorite Madlib project hands down. I've been listening to it a lot more and love everything about it. The beats, the story, the schizophrenia, the lyrics. Straight up classic.

8. Todd Rundgren / International Feel (Rhino)
I won't lie. I was only familiar with the material that every classic rock station seems to play on repeat – i.e., "Hello, It's Me", "I Saw The Light". I was put onto this track after watching Daft Punk's Electrorama. It's used in an opening sequence and I was blown away. Rundgren's one spaced out dude!

9. Guilty Simpson / She Wont Stay Home (Stones Throw)
After listening to Guilty's album, I wanted to spear a police officer with a sharpened car antenna and spit on my girlfriend (in a bad way). 'She Won't Stay Home' is the one for me -- drums layered like the ones made famous in the South and lyrics that'll give you the confidence to ask your girl for head. But what the fuck you doing with a girl that doesn't give dome in the first place?

10. Flying Lotus / Dance Floor Stalker (Warp)
Of course. My man has been a concrete staple ever since we linked up. You still haven't got the Reset EP? What the hell you doing? Support the man and stop bootlegging!
