Five years ago, 4 guys from Miami had the time of their lives performing at the inaugural Rites of Spring Festival (ROSFest) in Phoenixville, PA. We had just released our first album, Surface Serene, and we were almost done writing for the follow-up that would eventually be called "Wanderlust". Recently, I dusted off the single HD camera video from the show, mixed the camera audio with a board mix, and remastered the audio and video. I made some DVDs of the show for the guys, and we came to the consensus that we should share the video with the world. YouTube makes that possible. So, if you are interested, I have uploaded the whole set (more or less) and ordered it into a YouTube Playlist for your listening and viewing pleasure.

The set included a number of songs from Surface Serene and a smattering of songs that would later appear on Wanderlust. Some of those arrangements changed a bit and evolved, but that album always reflected that the songs had been cut and molded on the back of the heavy performing schedule we put on ourselves in the mid 2000s.

The songs aren't perfect (Firth of Fifth is one tough mofo), but they are an honest representation of where we were at in 2004. We choose to share this performance with you all, warts and all. Enjoy!

The mastering process is complete and we have sent the album off for manufacturing!  We hope to post a track or two here on Myspace in the coming weeks and start taking preorders for the album.

We are happy to report that our new album, "Hollow" has been completely mixed and is now off for Mastering!  It will be mastered by 3-time grammy winner Joseph Palmaccio (Jeff Buckley, Emerson Lake & Palmer, ELO, Alicia Keys, Steely Dan, Toto).  Look for the formal release to happen in late August, early September.  Check back at our Myspace page as we post some of the new songs in the next few weeks.

Wanderlust featured on WBWC

DJ Allen Thompson featured "Wanderlust" on his radio show, "Somewhere Between Sunrise and Sunset" on WBWC in Cleveland.  Allllo Cleveland!!!  We always wanted to say that!

CD Release Party a great success

Tobacco Road was the place to be last night for Little Atlas' CD Release Party.  Composer and guitar monster Raimundo Rodulfo kicked things off with a smoking solo set prior to Little Atlas taking the stage around 11.  A large and enthusiastic crowd was on hand.  Thanks to all who attended, to Danny Jessup who helped set up the show, and to Tobacco Road, the best rock club in Miami!

Little Atlas is named "Best Local Rock Band in Miami!"

The Weekly alternative newspaper, The Miami New Times, has named Little Atlas as "Best Local Rock Band" in their "Best of Miami" issue for 2005.  With all the amazing local music in town, this is a tremendous honor.
