"WHEN I LOOK IN THE MIRROR" (demo)

Definitely a bit of a darker tune... a lot of the lyrics were made up as I recorded (didn’t write anything down until after I had finished recording). I think you may hear shades of some of my more alternative influences (Bright Eyes; Brand New, etc.). I hope you enjoy!

2 new songs posted on there (and the first two i've ever recorded by myself with a laptop)... turned out ok, some really nice harmony in both...

"I Won't Let You Down" is a promise to somebody who may very well be "more than just a friend". Starts soft and builds quite well (stick around for the chorus/second verse)

"Goodbye, Goodbye, Goodbye" chronicles a young mother's attempts to find a place in her life that is best for her and her baby daughter

New song called "Say The Word" recorded last week in Delray Beach, FL. The song is a more bluesy number but it still rocks and pops....

It features myself on guitar, piano, vocals, and bass and my good friend Chris Lashway on organ, guitar, and MIDI percussion.

I recorded a series of very rough demos and I'm going to post a new song each week until I've gotten through all of them.

This week's tune is a really low key tune called "Crash It All Down". If it were to be recorded, it would built from solo acoustic to a full band by the last verse/chorus.

I want you to message me ANY FEEDBACK you have (positive or negative). I'm going to use this feedback in determining what pieces to record in the future.
