In a recent conversation between Sudeten Creche and their original studio engineer last week, he recalled that while Dance was being remixed for the Kindergarten EP at Elephant Studios London in 1983, there was some spare time and he mixed a second version of "Are ksses out of Fashion?". As it was common practice for all studio activity to be recorded on a metal tape as a back up to the 1/2 track masters, it is thought that this recording might still exist.
So, to all you collectors out their, keep looking for this one, it could well turn up soon.

Aimé le Chevalier and Walhalla Records in Antwerp will be supplying 'A kiss from the Creche' CD EP when it is released next month.
A New Walhalla For DJs (And Collectors) 10 November 2009 Last week, Antwerp gave birth to a new record store: Walhalla Records. The shop is run by Belgian DJ Aimé le Chevalier, who has always had a soft spot for new wave, industrial and oldskool house and elektro. Aimé le Chevalier started DJing in 1981. Ever since he’s been playing at parties left and right.
His passion is - without a doubt - music. For as long as he can remember, he’s been into new wave. But his interests don't stop there: he also enjoys cold wave, minimal synth, industrial, experimental, oldskool house & elektro, original ska, popcorn, dub and anything that sounds good to him.
In his spare time you'll often find him strolling around in record shops and at record fairs - collecting original records and tapes from the dark eighties. Now he has his own shop: Walhalla Records, Haarstraat 23, 2000 Antwerp. Be sure to pay him a visit - either Mondays through Fridays between 11:00 and 18:00, on Saturday between 11:00 and 19:00; or on Sunday between 13:00 and 18:00.

Like much of Sudeten Creche's back catalogue, Then and Now is an classic example of an early song. Originally written on 5th May 1980 as a response to one of Sudeten Creche's member's feelings about a long standing and dear friend who was shortly to leave England for America, never to return. The song was the result of their last day together, both knowing that they would probably never see each other again. The last thing they did together was to watch the unfolding assault of the SAS on the Iranian Embassy as it happened, live on Television.
The Lyrics remained filed with notes for the music until 2006. An early tape with a very rough recording proved to be beyond recovery and so the task of re-recording this song, like the many others, still waiting to be worked on, started.
While it is true that the re-recording of Then and Now has used modern equipement, Sudeten Creche has strived to maintain the feeling of the song and its structure. This particular version features Mark's vocals. Paul's vocals will feature on the official release.
The modern media world had arrived and the two friends never met again, That was then, this is now ...
