a lot of people have been asking when a new album is coming out (darker days is a year old for us in canada).  i'm not sure when a new album is going to come out, hopefully later on this year.  thanks for the support!  hope you enjoy the video!  keep checking back, i'm hoping to do a new video blog thing every week or two.  anyways, take care!

Hello,

I think a few of you are wondering when the new record is going to be coming out. I've been wondering the same thing for a while myself. I'm going to say right now that it should be coming out in March. I'll probably have a more official date of release in a little bit.

Maybe some of you didn't actually know that there was a new record coming out? Well to you I say, there is. It's going to be 11 tracks recorded in a proper studio for once, and will also be printed and packaged by professionals. Not to say that my mother and I aren't a professional team of CD manufacturers by now...

Today is thursday the 7th of February, and so if you live in Saskatoon, SK then tonight you should come to Lydia's to see Maurice play. If you live in Regina, SK then tomorrow (friday) night you should go to The Exchange to see The Emerson Letters CD release.

Hopefully I'll be touring on the new album in April or so. If you want me to come to your town, let me know! I'm not sure at the moment if this tour will be with a band or just me and the guitar, you could also let me know which you would prefer.

I just want to say thanks to anyone who helped us put on a show, get a show, or anyone who just came to a show. We had a lot of fun on this tour, and we hope that you enjoyed us playing.

There should be some news coming in the new year. The release of the new album 'Darker Days' will be announced and other things like that, so stay tuned and we'll have an awesome 2008 together.
