Jonas Malmberg,
Another Hero And Angel Of Our Children In Need 


Thanks to Jonas Malmberg's fantastic help and organization, "Wake Up - Stop Child Abuse" was able to sell Badges at an icehockey game of "Vita Hästen" from Norrköping in Sweden.

Though "Wake Up - Stop Child Abuse" is based and registered in Basle, Switzerland, we are an international charity organization which fights against child abuse!
I, Ralph Jones, founder and president of "Wake Up - Stop Child Abuse" have visited my assistant Helena Peterson in Sweden where we both met Jonas Malmberg on a friday night out.

After we've told Jonas about our charity organization and our projects, he came up with the brilliant idea that we could sell our Badges at an icehockey game in his home town, Norrköping.

Jonas then called us on saturday and said that he had talked to the committee of the icehockey club and that we had green lights and could go ahead with selling the badges and that on the very next day.

It all went so fast and truly, Helena and I were not prepared for this action at all.
So we printed some pictures of children wearing the "Wake Up - Stop Child Abuse" t-shirt, wrote down a few lines about our charity organization and grabbed the Badges.
We also took 3 CD's of "Dr. Jones - Songs 1987-2009" (sadly we didn't have anymore with us) of which 30% of the profit goes directly to "Wake Up - Stop Child Abuse" and went to the icehockey stadium.

I must say that Jonas, Henrik Månsson and all the other workers of the icehockey club "Vita Hästen" in Norrköping, were so very friendly and helpful so that Helena and I felt very comfortable there straight away!

Finally, after 2 hours and our feet getting pretty cold, we managed to sell 27 Badges and though the swedish people were very generous, we collected a stunning
SEK 560.00 ($78.24 / £46.90 / EUR 51.91)
for our charity organization "Wake Up - Stop Child Abuse"!

We also sold the 3 CD's while I was in Sweden and collected another
SEK 44.82 ($6.26 / £4.00 / EUR 4.15)
for "Wake Up - Stop Child Abuse" which again we will donate to children's homes and orphanages all over the world!

Well, christmas is nearly here and we all will have the pleasure of enjoying a wonderful time with our loved ones, our families, good food and lots of presents!
"But not so all the children who have got no family and will have to stay in a children's home or an orphanage"!

So i, Ralph Jones, founder and president of the charity organization "Wake Up - Stop Child Abuse", have decided to change this by donating 30% instead of 20% of the profit from my CD directly to children's homes and orphanages all over the world.
I was even able to persuade and convince my manager, Barry Allen, to put down the price of my CD in a big way from £7.99 to £4.99, of which of course he wasn't happy at all to do!

I have done this in the hope that you all will be able to buy a copy of my CD so that lots of money can be raised and donated to those children's homes and orphanages.
Wouldn't it be great if all those lonely children could enjoy a wonderful christmas too and at the same time, receive a little present, just like any other child does!?

A donation action and sale by auction on eBay created by Patty Vohla and her friends!

Patty Vohla has found Wake Up-Stop Child Abuse on myspace and just like many of our other friends, added our charity organization to her friends list.
She wanted to help straight away, made a donation but was very sad that she couldn't give more though she hasn't got much money herself.
She noticed that Wake Up-Stop Child Abuse has over 10'000 friends but only a few did really help which made her sad and also a bit angry.

So Patty started to think of how she could help even more and though she creates handmade bears and has friends, real friends, she first called them all together over her own forum.
Her idea was to start a donation action for Wake Up-Stop Child Abuse.
Patty thought that she and all her friends could sew bears and start a sale by auction on eBay.
All her friends on her forum were straight away totally inspired by the idea and said they would take part on the action and help her.

But Patty thought, how do i organize this?
She never did anything like this and she really didn't have a clue of how to organize it all.
So Patty just jumped into the cold water and went ahead!
She knew she would need some more people who can sew bears and would help her.

First, Patty started with the creation of a new website and a banner, which you can see at the top of this blog.
She decided to call her action:
"Bears for Wake Up and against Child Abuse!"!

Patty and her friends from her forum then called or wrote to all the bear makers they knew and asked them if they would take part and also sent them the banner which they all embedded onto their websites.
It was all done as a mouth propaganda but also got to the bear makers through e-mails.
Someone knew this person, someone else did post it over his/her forum and it went around the bear makers like a hot fire.
In the end there were a staggering "41" bear makers who would take part in Patty's action for Wake Up-Stop Child Abuse!

Now it was time for Patty to prepare the sale by auction on eBay and that was a lot of work though she had to create each page seperately, a own eBay account and also a "my" page.
And on the 19th of July 2009 the sale by auction on eBay finally started.
Now hold yourself because Patty and her wonderful friends collected a stunning
EUR 1'260.00 / $1'758.00 / £1'060.00!!!

And here is what Patty said after her fantastic and outstanding action for our charity organization:

Up until now i have never helped a charity organization and this sale by auction on eBay was my first ever action.
I just took a jump into the cold water and my only goal was that this action has to be a succsess!
The children are our future and i think we have set a real mark and we have succeeded and achieved our goal!
My wish is that lots more people would take action into their own hands because just talking doesn't change the world to the better!
It doesn't need lots of money because everyone has got two hands and a head which can be used to do some thinking.
Ideas don't cost anything but are very precious just like our action shows and i'm very proud of what we have achieved!

I'm lost for words, Patty Vohla has done something of which others only talk about and then for ever disappear!
I always say, "action talks and bullshit walks", as you can read in one of my blogs!
Patty even had to endure some sad and foul attacks of one german person because she did all this for a charity organization which isn't based in Germany but in Switzerland but never the less, she went ahead with it.
Patty, my dear and wonderful friend, YOU ARE THE BEST and YOU ARE A TRUE HERO!!!
I want to thank you Patty and all your "real" friends from the bottom of my heart and also in the name of all the children and teenagers who have to grow up in this sad and wasted world!

In her book, she describes what an adult survivor of childhood abuse and neglect is, what post-traumatic stress is like, and how she used creative writing as therapy.

Author and Film Producer Lia Scott Price describes how she turned deeply personal traumatic life experiences into a creative outlet.
Writing got her through an abusive childhood, ovarian cancer, abusive marriages, and post traumatic stress.
In her book, she describes what an adult survivor of childhood abuse and neglect is, what post-traumatic stress is like, and how she used creative writing as therapy.
She also writes about what influenced her to choose the horror and science fiction genre.
As a result, she became the author of 11 books and the producer of feature films.
She also gives writing and self-publishing tips in her book.
Lia now lives in Los Angeles and continues to write and work in filmmaking.

Dear friends,

This weekend we’re going to shoot the main scene for the video clip
to our theme song “Wake Up”!

The scene will be filmed in London, Hyde Park at the Speakers corner and it shows a family walking through Hyde Park when all of a sudden the father pushes his child very hard with the child falling to the ground, crying out loud.

Then there’s a young man who’s watching the abuse and he shouts
“stop the abuse, wake up”.

And I will be standing on the speakers podium shouting
“did you hear him, he said wake up, don’t mess with your future”.

For further scenes we will also ask all sorts of people in the streets of London, at the Camden market and other places to shout “wake up” into the video cameras.

We already have filmed some scenes in Switzerland and there are a few more scenes yet to be shot there as well.

You may ask yourself why are we shooting some scenes in London though
Wake Up-Stop Child Abuse is based in Switzerland?

Well as you all know, we’re living in a difficult time and it’s so very hard to find sponsors or people who can or want to donate money for good causes.
So I’ve moved back to London and here I’m trying, together with my manager, to sell some of my songs like “Miss You”, “The End Of The Road” and “I’ve Lost My Friend” so I can raise money for our upcoming projects.

Just so you all understand, I really don’t like to sell my songs at all because they’re a part of me and my life and it tears my heart apart to do just that.

Now, “YOU” can also be a part of this production!

Yes and yes again!

 

The swiss public has turned down the

statute-barred prosecution for child abusers!

 

And that with amazing 67% no against 33% yes!

 

This means that every child abuser has to be scared of the possibility

of being charged one day, even if the crime has been committed

50 or more years ago!

 

It's fantastic news because adults who have been abused in their childhood will suffer for the rest of their lives and the processing of their experiences from the past usually don't show up before the age of 35-40 or even later!

 

I'm not speaking out of a book or any statistics but from my own

experience,i'm45 now, and i can tell you that if my dad was still alive,

he died on my thirtieth birthday, i would take him to court and

expose him to the whole city of Basle!

Because of the abuse i suffered throughout my childhood i wasn't really happening in this world, i did feel useless, unwanted and i did want to commit suicide as early as from the age of 5!

 

I fled abroad when i was 17 years old and became a proffesional musician though i never ever wanted that because i was so scared that someone would find out about my childhood if i was to become famous!

Every band i played with i left again as soon as we was to sign

a record deal because i didn't want to see my face

on any album-cover, posters or newspapers.

Sometimes i disappeard for days without telling the rest of the band

nor the management where i was, just because i couldn't cope

with the memories anymore.

 

I still smoke a joint every night before i go to sleep, just to avoid

the terrible nightmares though i shouldn't smoke at all because

i have a lung illness caused by my dad.

He always did presse a pillow on my face when i used to scream

while he was beating on me.

Feeling that pillow on my face, not being able to breath, i always though i would suffocate and one day, i was about 7 years old, there was a massive pain in my lungs and i fell unconscious.

When i woke up again, all that my dad said to me was,

don't be a wimp, take it like a man!

 

I wasn't even allowed to go to the hospital to find out what happend,

i had to wait until i was 16 years old and by that time it was way to late

for any treatment or surgery.

I already had over 30 cuts on each lung and they didn't want to take

the risk going with a surgery.

 

My whole life was and still is a mess and i probably

will never find my place here!

 

I know that i'm not alone, that so many others have to go through

this process as well and that some of them won't make it because

the abuse they have experienced in their childhood

will never go out of their heads anymore!

 

WE ARE PRISONERS OF OUR PAST!!!

Now you probably understand why it is so important to all the people who have been abused in their childhood, that there will never be a

statute-barred prosecution for child abusers!

 

We have won a small battle but we still have a

big fight ahead of us in the war against child abuse!!!

Dear Friends,

 

Our project "Wake Up – Stop Child Abuse"

(song and video clip) is getting bigger by the week!


 

Over 500 children and teenagers have already been in the recording studio to shout "Wake Up" into the microphones!

 

It was amazing to see and hear their dedication though they all come from different countries and cultures.

 

And that was the problem at the beginning, they hated each other and they didn't want to be in the recording studio together.

I WAS SHOCKED!!!

So first i had to explain to them that child abuse and child neclect

isn't about racism, but a problem which exists in every country

and in every culture.

 

I also told them that the future is theirs and that they themselves

have to change things to create a better future for them

and the next generations.

 

I didn't think it would solve the problem but hey, all of a sudden the tension in the air was gone and they all done a fantastic job,

and that together!

 

To me that was one of the most wonderful moments in my life

and it gives me hope for our future!

 

We adults should take our children and teenagers as an example

because if we do so, there might be a chance for us

to become "caring" humans again!!!

 

So come on, join us in the war against child abuse,

be a loud and active voice and help us to accomplish the projects

which we're doing together with children and teenagers!


 

Help us to help our youth so they can learn to help themselves and others, which in the future might be "you"!

Have we reached rock bottom now?

YES, WE HAVE FAILED IN A BIG WAY!

OUR OH SO LOVED AND USELESS PRESIDENTS, THE WHOLE SOCIETY!
 
 
Our disinterest, our selfishness and our heartless thinking have taken over from being caring humans!
 
In switzerland we now have the first childrens hospital with an alcohol clinic for children from the age of 12!

I'M VERY CONCERNED, VERY SHOCKED BUT ALSO VERY ANGRY THAT WE HAVE LET IT COME THAT FAR!
 
At the moment all of us are only concerned about the financial crisis and the worlds economy, what a joke!
What do you think the worlds economy will look like
in 10 years time?
Well, let me tell you:
By watching our children and teenagers destroying themselves with alcohol, drugs, violence and crime, by not helping them to find their way in our society and get involved in the worlds economy,
we might as well throw in the towel right now!
 
HOW CAN WE LET THIS HAPPEN
WITHOUT HAVING A BAD CONSCIENCE?
HOW CAN A MANAGER EARN MILLIONS EACH YEAR AND NOT GIVING BACK ANYTHING TO THE SOCIETY AND OUR FUTURE?
 
Let me remind you once again:
 
THE CHILDREN AND TEENAGERS ARE OUR FUTURE!
We should never mess with our future
because the feedback will hit us all like a bomb!

HERE ARE A FEW WISE WORDS FROM A DEAR FRIEND OF WAKE UP - STOP CHILD ABUSE!

I ADWISE EVERYONE TO MARK THOSE WORDS, KEEP THEM IN YOUR MIND AND PASS THEM ON TO YOUR CHILDREN!!!


HERE YOU GO:

It isn't until we make real committment will we start to see actual changes in our siociety.

Once we protect and secure our children other problems will begin to improve as well.

We have lost sight of the things that are truly important, our GOD, our children, our families, marriage, morals and values.....our roots.

We're destroying ourselves.

Everyone is turning to something- street drugs, prescription drugs, alcohol, pornography, lack of faith, lack of GOD, focusing on money and status symbols, matrial items, tons of cosmetic surgery (have to look good on the outside while the inside rots away).

We're vain, smug, selfish and self centered.

We're immoral, violent, arrogant and hypocritical.

We're complacent, afraid, helpless and hopeless.

We're full of excuses and out of solutions.

Too busy to care, too proud to act, too depressed to function, too immoral to realize there is a problem.

We're enraged, discouraged, defeated and indifferent.

We're disgusted, mistrusting, lazy and oblivious.
