just a little update on what weve been up to the last months. there is also a new track in the player recorded over the summer.

we have recently finished the recording sessions for the album. we were very happy this time to be joined by derek shirley (double bass) and kassian troyer (guitar). the recordings are being edited at the moment. we will post snips here as things are completed.

we are pleased to be included on a remix ep from ian d hawgood which will be released in early febuary. the other remixers are remote viewer, geskia and ten and tracer. more details on where this will be available soon.

recently a new audio visual project has been developed with visual artist Rainer Kohlberger to explore new possibilities in the wider context of multimedia practice. our live improvisations will be accompanied by live and reactive visuals.

we are also planning some live dates around april which will be our first since the tour in september.

so much to look forward to in 2009. and wish you all a very belated new year.

weve uploaded the new track 50hz (midnight) on the player. It was recorded in april and features some field recordings from sawako's summer tour last year.

the pan am family has grown over the last few months to now include regular contributions both performative and recorded from drummers jan thoben (taunus) and patrick farmer (the good anna).

we are also pleased to announce that we are doing a small tour of the UK with 'the boats' in september. patrick will be joining us on drums for all of the dates.
