This Friday (November 27) the monthly Morristown bike ride rides right through the center of town and into Santa's arrival on the green.  Festive!  If you are home for the holidays and need to get out for a bit, here's your chance!

Light up your bike and show up ready to ride at town hall, 200 South Street.  Ride leaves at 6:30.  Elf and reindeer types encouraged, but regular people on bikes are welcome too.  If you left your bike back wherever you are living now, check with Marty's on Speedwell to see if they have a loaner!

The showing of Breaking Away at the Early Street Community garden was rained out earlier this summer, so it is going to be shown after the ride on September 25 at the Early Street Community Garden.  Obsessed with my Crustacean is still playing some awesome music before the movie starts, but now we also are including the premiere of Christian Schuller's controversial new movie on the Early St Garden, Growtown Motown.

August 28 will be the second anniversary ride of the Morristown Critical Mass.  Yay!

Invite your fav or least fav candidate to this ride.  Also your friends and your mom.  I hear that both candidates for mayor of Morristown are showing up and possibly some candidates for council.

Burritos at Titos for whoever can get Christie or Corzine to show up!

After the ride on Friday, July 31, the Early Street Garden is hosting a bike-in movie!  We are going to be showing Breaking Away, which is a pretty awesome movie.  I also think there is going to be music and fun and friends, so make sure to put it on your calendar.

The art show after the ride yesterday was fantabulous!  Thanks to Ryan and Ashley and everyone at Marty's for a great show after the ride.

The weather yesterday was beautiful until right before the ride, when a huge storm hit.  Still about 50 people rode, pics to come.

After the July 31 ride, there is going to be a bike-in movie at the new Early Street Garden. Check out their other events and classes here.

Next Friday is the last Friday of the month, and the regular Morristown Bike Ride night.  The ride starts at 6:30 at Morristown Town Hall,  200 South Street.  

After the bike ride, there is the 2nd Annual Art of the Bicycle Show at Marty's Reliable Cycle, 173 Speedwell. 

 Last year's was a huge success and a total blast, and I think this year's sounds even better.  Some new artists will be showing their work, as well as some favorites from last year, and I hear there are going to be a lot of interesting antique or unusual bikes on display too.  If you can't make it to the bike, def come to the art show anyhow!  More info here.

Some people are manning a couple booths at the gigantic garage sale in Morristown at the end of the month and the money is going to go fun bike stuff like bike in movies, or maybe some bike racks in town and other awesome things. 

If you have junk you think will sell and you want to get rid of, let me know! Also looking for someone with a truck to get stuff over there and maybe junk collector who wants to pick up whatever is left over to keep or drop at the thrift store.

The garage sale is on May 30!

Start spring cleaning!



Oh!  Could also use a couple of card tables to borrow!

The next ride is on April 24, and if you are a zombie, this ride is for you! Other towns have zombie walks and crawls, but I really think Morristown is ready for zombies on bikes. Humans are also welcome, as zombies have to eat.

Please tell any zombies you know about the ride this month, and if your zombie does not have a bike, pedestrian and crawly types are certainly welcome to hit the sidewalks and crawl from town hall to Tito's or Sona 13 and the green.
