A young suburban couple happens upon a massive bag of cocaine that might just solve all their problems. Tensions rise and flaws are exposed as the newlyweds realize that they have no idea what they are doing--until some sage advice comes from the last source they'd expect... but the only source who can help.

Official Selection of the Action On Film International Film Festival.

Yes, it is true.

I was gone in the fall for six weeks... and now I am going back to the UK for three months.

My time away will be healthy for me as an individual as well as be beneficial for my growth as an artist.

Yes, that means we will not be playing any shows during this period, but... NO... that does not mean things are not happening.

The great label we are working with right now (COUNT YOUR LUCKY STARS RECORDS) will be selling our BEARTOOTH EP... and we will be getting a bunch of reviews for it while I'm gone (thank you beartrap PR).

And you have things to look forward too.  This year we will be releasing both an ep and full length with cyls records.

thanks for supporting us and enjoying our music.

I hope you will let the music of Boris Smile be apart of your new year.

Sincerely,

A. Wesley Chung and the Boris Smile bunch

If you didn't know, Boris Smile started this thing called the "Under the Covers Project" where anyone can record a cover of one of our songs and we put it up on lastfm.com.... just a way to let people be involved in what we are doing and letting us help those who like our music.

So, I put them up yesterday.

http://www.last.fm/music/Boris+Smile/The+Under+the+Covers+Project+%28Boris+Smile+covers%29

check it out.  The covers we recieved came out wonderfully.  And it is never too late to do a cover.... just re-invent one of our songs and send it to me (music@borissmile.com).

now go and take a listen.

and thank you all who participated.  I am honored.

So, one of our songs will be on the show "Roadtrip Nation" on PBS. Also, we got on the soundtrack they've been giving out for free around the country to different universities. I am not sure when our episode airs... but I think it might be soon or in the next few months or something... not sure... I'll keep you updated.

The link to the pieces is:
http://www.pbs.org/wnet/roadtripnation/exclusive_redefining30.html

The song featured is : Seasons

in the indie roadtrip piece: Redefining 30 (our song comes after an interview with Taylor Hicks the American Idol winner)

below is a description of the episode:

Amy, an elementary school teacher in Hillsborough, NJ, travels across the United States as she contemplates making a shift in her career path.

During her roadtrip, Amy meets with Katy McColl, senior editor of Jane magazine; Momofuku restauranteur David Chang; producer Jenna Strollo of WOR radio; American Idol winner Taylor Hicks; Bert Jacobs, co-founder of "Life is Good" clothing; and Brendan Synnott and Kelly Flatley, founders of Bear Naked Granola.

Well, it will be out soon. In the next month or so hopefully.

Its a real good one. Little darker, moodier if you will. It was my pleasure and privilege to co-produce this one with our tuba/keys player Seth Shafer... who also mixed the EP as well as did the arrangements on it.

Track list:

1. Beartooth (Spooky version)
2. Hour of the Wolf
3. Tut Tut
4. Program Me to Love
5. Books of Blank Pages

This is all very exciting. It is being released by our good friends at COUNT YOUR LUCKY STARS RECORDS ( http://www.myspace.com/countyourluckystarsrecords)

check out the other bands on the label too.... they are quite cool.

Also, a side note. I am leaving for the Uk for a bit. I will be gone a total of six weeks.
