Another Exclusive Interview...  this time I pick the brain of AJ Jordan:

AJ Jordan....  thanks for takin this time out for me and JuggaloNews.com...
Hell yeah homie, anything for the Juggalo FAMILY out there - peoples been showin' me MAD love as of lately, and it's all I could do to repay the favor mayne!

So, you keep up on JuggaloNews and other sites?
On a daily basis brother, I do my "homework" on every single Underground Artist & Website out there representin' the Wicked Shit, especially JuggaloNews.com - I been coming to y'all's website since I was like 14 when it was RealJuggalos.com !

Yeah, like alot of us old skoolers, we come from other sites..  how many years you been doin your thing now?
Since 1998 I been hiding in the shadows lurkin' and listenin' to alot of new school garbage and old school veterans coming out into the Underground scene, I've just been working out in the streets of my own City of Buffalo, NY for the last 10 years, a long time coming and 3 localized CD's later, here I am set to finally get MY shine on!

The Crescendo drops like tomorrow........
The Crescendo is defined as a climax of sound reaching it's peak moment of vitality, that's what I'm all about - I used to be in a metal band called Jacknife is Dallas, TX where I could do the lodest metal roar anybody around those parts ever heard, and my old drummer coined the term "Crescendo" on me, and it just stuck.

Nice..  so what kind of metal are you influenced by..   i come from the thrash & speed metal dayz
Ah man, you know coming from the South and Texas metal scene, I was influenced ALOT by bands like Pantera and White Zombie, and even some newer metal like Drowning Pool before my old friend Dave Williams passed away, now they've gone "nu-metal" and personally I think its garbage.  But yeah man, as far as thrash, I was all about Slayer and Static X and KMFDM and all that industrial sounding shit, like Nine Inch Nails, and even slower progressive rock like The Deftones and Tool.
Plus up here in Buffalo there's a HUGE punk scene, so I listen to alot of scenester stuff like Operation Ivy and Mighty Bosstones and the Bouncing Souls and Leftover Crack, alot of good ska/punk music comes out from around my way up here even before I moved to Texas and got the liberation to peep the metal scene, I was always a punker at heart haha.

Yeah man, thats what i like to fuckin hear..  i worked with Slayer and Bouncing Souls on the shoes...    who would you like to collab with here in the near future?
As far as Rap or Hip Hop goes, I've got alot of unsurmountable respect for some vets out there like T-Rock from the Three Six Mafia, and cats making definite moves right now like Menacide and other dudes like Cage and Aesop Rock from Def Jux...I've got a huge musical library, I couldn't even begin to explain what my plans are for this music - I don't want to stick to rap forever, when there is SO many more sounds to experiment with, so on the rock tip I'd say guys like Mudvayne and Maynard from Tool would be a serious collabo.

I think its time to do Metal - Rap Crossover again..  but this time we do it right..
Exactly!  Thats what I'm sayin, bands like Rage Against The Machine that could venture into something so greatly influenced by alot of different music, that's what we need back in musical culture - this pop commercial garbage coming out nowadays just isn't cutting it for alot of society, which is why you see so many kids latching onto the Underground scene...

speaking of the underground..  how do you see the industry right now?

generally.....
The Underground Industry?   Alot of cats are hating saying that it's a dying breed, but man you got people like Strange Music & Psychopathic hitting that target market to teens and younger adults, we know how to make our money right and give back to the community - that's what being a "band" and having "fans" is all ABOUT - If you're going to BE in the "Industry", you have GOT to give back!  Too much commercialized rap out there just gaining material funds and not caring about what thier so-called "fans" have to say, that's wack - the Underground has a TRUE CALLING, we will survive, because we are like family in this piece, I try to talk to every single person that comes to me saying my shit is fresh, and I loyally appreciate that and attempt to show my friendship in every way possible.

Are you a community wise type person?   any benefits?  shit like that?
Great question man, because I really am a huge influence for the teenagers out here in the Western NY community - Right now you can see me performing FOR FREE with the purchase of a ticket for the House of Horrors & Haunted Catacombs, THE Largest Haunted House in New York State, and all of our proceeds are going to the Variety Kids Telethon.  I have alot of love for my city and I share in backing up my community by giving out free CD's and performing free concerts whenever possible.  Also we do free recording studio time with engineering & production for the poorer but more talented cats out here, there's always alot under the table and on my plate that we're always working with trying to help the local scene.

thats fuckin amazing..      (ahem)..   wow..  what would you say to up and coming artists slash rappers slash techs out there?

I'd say get on your grind & never give up hope - I've sacrificed SO much for this music from being homeless at times to losing all of my material possessions.  If you ARE that die-hard for your scene and the goals you plan to achieve in doing them - keep on striving, player!  My determination FAR exceeds ANYBODY's expectations of me, nobody's got a clue the passion I have in making music.

Passion.. you and I seem to have alot of it..   where does that come from do you think?

Strive..   Driven..  theres plenty of words for it
The countless amounts of people underestimating me only fuels that fire inside me even more.  I've always said "Determination is pride, struggle and stride!!"

Tell us about some cats you work with personally that you'd like to thank and let people know about....
There's honestly not too many people I'd care to give my gratitude for - alot of shady cats in the Underground making a name for themselves wouldn't even give me the time of day right now, although I've done SO much for them.  But if I really had to give my deepest condolensces to anybody, I would first and foremost give them to my boy KC L of L8 Productions who has been with me since day one, and a vast variety of producers helping ya boy get back at the snakes like Madstylez and that crazy ass killer Stir Crazy who's been holding it down for me on the beats as of lately.  But yeah, other dudes, they can fuck themselves with thier snotty egos and overrated respect.

ummm..   if you were to kill a fuckin stupid bitch..  how would ya do it?
Haha, who says I haven't already?   A dude's got to keep his secret skeletons hidden, can't go dropping them out the trunk.  Do your homework, maybe a bit of sulfuric acid!

ok, do you have any preferrences?

like..  women, faggots, does it matter to you?
Haha.
Preferences, faggots can eat a dick like they're used to doing, women if they're not skeezy money sucking drug sniffing whores then they can get it any way they want it, especially if they're an executive, hook it UP!

now thats what i call an answer
(  ;)   )

Ok, its Dark Jedi Hillz up in this.... and i got AJ Jordan as a fuckin witness..
we droppin like a bomb for JuggaloNews..   just be thankful this aint my whole god damn crew..........

Because if it was we'd disarm ya fools, steady creatin' bombs for the '08 and through, can't nobody even come close to touchin JN.com, come and test these old schoolin' cats we'll leave you offed when they sound the alarm!

alarm soundin and we're not flinchin from it...
we the tag team igniting from the horizons summit..
arising from the ground covered to our toes in dirt..
just another zombie showin up for fuckin..  work..

Cause that's all either of us have ever known, get gone if you aint real about punchin in your timecard because we're in the zone, stallin out on any bitch who disrespects the grown, I get ghost like the killer who aint found and always was alone

ahahahaha..  ...  Jordan..  All Alone..   YES!!!!
thanks AJ..  we'll talk to you soon..  thanks again.....
No problem Big Homie Hillz!  Y'all keep settin up that fresh ass news, and I'll keep comin readin' up and tellin' other peeps to visit the site all the time, big shout outs to JuggaloNews!!!

- so first off, tell us about AJ Jordan. i.e. where yer from, how long you been in the game, anything else we should know, etc.
Hi, My Name's AJ Jordan, a 25 year old starving Underground recording artist from Buffalo new York. I'm your not-so-friendly neighborhood Crescendovillain, and I've been lurking around deep in the shadows of the Wicked Underground for almost 10 years now, performing all across the country and creating masterpiece beats & graphic design for other well-known artists, as it's known I've brought alot of cats into the game by starting them off and teaching them how to produce & engineer music, all the while I was going through different alias as my music evolved into what it is today. I'm one of those artists that everybody has heard of but nobody knows nothing about, and sometimes I like to keep it that way, mysterious almost.I've been conjuering up a sick CD for the last 4 years, writing & speaking on everything I've wanted to ever say inside, and kind of took a hiatus to collect my thoughts on what I would really like to do, and honestly I have just been brewing beats and scribblin' lyrics like a "behind-the-scenes" vision...my sophmore debut to the Underground is highly anticipated and set to release this summer on Tuesday, July 22nd 2008!
- What kind of projects have you worked on in the past?
You might have heard of "The Darkest Angel" out of Dallas, Texas who performed at the MC Contest at the GOTJ2000 and gave out over 5,000 sampler CD's of the wicked shxt "Decayin' In Tha Ground". Then in 2002 I moved back to my hometown of Buffalo, NY and met these dudes Undaground Conspiracy (UGC) and we started a massive overhaul on a more conscience-minded level of marketing our hip hop music. We evolved into making our own beats and learning the business end of the music industry and advertising promotions, and created a huge stir within the local hip-hop scene in Rochester, NY that still lingers of envy. In 2003, I parted my creative ways from UGC and release a solo album under my real name AJ Jordan entitled "The Different Shades Of Grey EP", basically my freshmen release as a solo recording artist. I took on a broader market and passed out over 10,000 sampler CD's locally through Western NY and beyond, and the hit single "People Change" got heavy rotation on local college radio, all which gave me heavy publicity throughout local newspapers like the Artvoice and in the course of a year we sold 1,500 copies of my debut EP. So, needless to say, I've put in work!Speakin' of which, there's many artists giving me inspiration that I'd love to jawn on a track with, my favorite by far just killin' the scene right now is the Murda Mitten's own Menacide, dude is a great businessman and even better friend to his fans & listeners - cop that Street Symphony CD in stores now!I'd also like to record a track with Devin The Dude (I know, he's not really "Underground"), but I can't get enough harmony and he's hilarious.Rumor has it you'll be hearing alot of guest appearances on my full-length LP, such as the False Profits Coalition's own B-Lo-C, Cap One from Simken Heights, Lo Key & Saint Sinna from 7th Seal Entertainment, and mad more in the mix!
- Whats currently in your cd player?
Ok, here we go...I have a very eclectic range of music from LA The Darkman's "Heist of The Century" on some old Wu-Tang 'ish, you know we gots to have Tech N9ne up in the whip bumpin' (my mornin' wake-up music), Cage from Definite Jux, Hard Target from Florida and the Black Op's crew with DZK, some Prophet Posse (former members of Three Six Mafia), my homie Ajax from Detroit (Go get that Out Of Body/Out Of Mind EP!!), a little bit of Pastor Troy old & new, some Tool and Pantera, and yes even old school Everlast from House of Pain gets steady in that steady rotation clam-bakin' the ride!</font>
- you have a wide variety of styles. do those come from different influences, experimenting, or something else?
man, music has always been a part of my SOUL. And that's the type of music I will always intend to make: For the people who can relate.I honestly don't listen to my own tracks because they are more of a psychological thing for me just to get out the stress sometimes, but even the good times will roll and we're always in the studio laying down fresh-hot beats. My style of producing beats is genuine to alot of other Underground cats- When I moved back to New York I picked up "beatsmithing" as the producers call it, and learned the technicalities behind sampling old-school breaks off wax vinyls from an old friend of mine. We'd sit there til all hours of the night spinning old records looking for the hot breaks & melodies, and you can hear the influence and sometimes may even be able to call out which song of old that I sampled for whatever beat. It's a process, but music = my 1st and only true love.
- Every artist has good stories from the road, tell us one.
Ah man, let's talk about Detroit. I went out there to rock a show with Lavel and Marz, and it was supposed to be some kind of bikini carwash like the tickets said, right on 8 Mile Rd in the heart of the Diamond District. Now you people from Michigan know what's good in the D, that is the craziest hood I have ever gotten lost in, going down 8 Mile (more like 25 Mile!) and when we finally found the place an old crackheaded lookin' dude tried to show us directions down a one-way back street saying they moved the venue. He told us that there'd be a dude there who can give us directions to the real place, and we were like hell naw and peeled out of there! Come to find out the concert was like an hour away, and eventually we found it & had a blast anyways!
- your talents go far beyond being an MC. Your completely self made. Look, designs, beats, lyrics, and web work. How do you do it?
I've pretty much taught myself how to do everything in the last 10 years. I went to college and obtained my Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design & Media Advertising, which gave me alot of background into web design and internet marketing. I've always liked drawing and art, and music came hand-in-hand, too.So over the years I've developed my own personal style & taste, being the huge perfectionist that I am, and gathered a knack for good publicity. My writing influence comes from my Great Uncle John C. Gardner, who was a well-known author in the late 1960's for his controversial midevil-inspired novels.I have always loved writing since I was a young boy I would walk down the sidewalk making up tunes in my head or I'd constantly be drawing and writing poems. Recently I've been booking all of my own shows locally, and try to rock a concert at least once a month to keep the fans happy out here in Buffalo. I've learned what the people want and what they don't, and how to approach the media with a buzz that couldn't be denied even in the out-of-state regions past NY.
- Whats yer drink of choice?
It's a toss up between a Jack & Coke, but I am highly addicted to the Blue Monster Energy Drinks and have to have one every day. Haha.
- Whats yer favorite city/venue to play in?
There is NOTHING better than a local show, if you lived in Buffalo you'd feel the love [and the hate, but it's fun - I like drama ;p ]Other than here I'd have to say Dallas/Fort Worth more specifically the many venues in Deep Ellum - don't mess with Texas, they know how to party!
- Other than music, what else do you do?
Currently I am helping a business partner market and manage a restaurant, he does everything out of there from the famous Buffalo Wings & Pizza to Tacos, we have a video arcade and our own Entertainment company spinning local artists, and all the while being waitressed by the lovely ladies of Lake Ave Hotties, in which we also run a modeling company and photography & design entrepenaurship LLC through.
- What's your goal in this game? As in, why do you rap?
Honestly, I don't just like to "rap". In alot of my music you'll hear me only on choruses breaking it down with mad melodies, and one day I plan to experiment with live instruments and form a solid band that can play only what I hear in my head now. As I'm always analyzing my music and others around me, it's hard to form a concrete product out of rap and hip hop alone when there are so many fans down with metal and rock music, as well.My aim is to one day make a household name for myself as a guru of all fields in the entertainment business.I will never stop making music or art, my determination far exceeds anybody's expectations.Someone will have to take me out of the game or make me sign a contract, because I'm always hungry & never satisfied!
- Next week the America's Nightmare Tour kicks off. Tell us about it.
This tour is going to be full of controversy and that's why I'm on it. I love the rumors and people spreading them like an infection. It only fuels my desire to rock more venues. The whole thing of this tour is that many of our artists aren't well known, and we are trying to get them out there as hard as possible.Alot of us are coming out-of-pocket just to drive the 12 hours to come to your very own city or town and rock a small venue, but I'm that type of dude who loves the social interaction and observing the whole thing, just soaking it all in and learning new things from good peoples. Fact is I've never been afraid to put in hard work, and it has paid off as people all over the world are starting to know who AJ Jordan is and are turnin' the dial to tune in!
- Where can people learn more about you and check out your music?
You can google search and find about 89128238923 things about me, or just visit WWW.MYSPACE.COM/AJJORDAN for more info and FREE CD Downloads!

- rant time, you get 20 sentences to say whatever the hell you want. GO!
Well, I think I've taken up enough time on Faygoluvers' behalf, and I would just like to state (with no reflection of opinion anybody else's but my own, mark that as a disclaimer), I cannot stress enough that if you are old enough to vote, please go to your polls this voting season and place yours in!!!
Our country is under alot of stress with this "war", our current President lies and we need an honest soul to bring our nation back to greatness again.I've had to deal with several homies of mine just wanting to get out of this city and joining the military, only to get shipped overseas and months or years pass by and you finally hear word, only to learn the dude you grew up with on the corner just chillin' kickin' it is now "DECEASED".
Many songs have been wrote with subliminal thoughts of passed-on soldiers, and my heart reaches out to all the families in America involved.
Our sons should be growing up to carry on our family names, yet instead we are sent to a warzone for our "authorities" to live lawless in thier filth?I'm ashamed at our governmental system, and think we deserve change. So, please, place your votes, people!
I don't know if that was 20 sentences, Pope...but this is very important.
I've noticed alot of cats on the Spotlight don't pay homage to thier roots of what we as artists were blessed with.
The talent...the "ear" for music...a written form of expression....turned into speech...use your rights and strive on kid!
- what do you think of the current state of the "industry?"
The Industry is a joke, behind every successful person lies a pack of haters.
I'm greatful for all the real heads that bump my shxt, but for the ones that love to screwface, don't waste your time!
Sorry, I have a lot of disgrace for the commercial industry these days, the music being put out is nothing new, just packaged differently people!!
- all the Buffalo Juggalos talk about the live AJ shows. Just what goes down at one of those?
oh man, chaos, great times & great people. I have alot of pride for Buffalo, and one day plan to put this city on the map.The City of Buffalo also has alot of respect for me as an entertainer and there is no denying I am a public figure for the youth out here.I have been on local talkshow broadcasts, live college radio and interviews, in magazines and local newspapers, it's great to feel your work makes a difference in a world full of intolerable people and constant crime and poverty which we all feel the backlashes from in our communities. Our live shows are full of high energy and we just like to "get it all out there" so when we're done we feel accomplished. The people around our city and surrounding surburban areas are hooked onto our music, mostly because we are REAL with what we spit lyrically, and it is the kind of music that you can jam out to, or even at times get low and learn from your experiences, like I have.I'm here to make music for a cause, what that is I'm not sure: But I feel it inside. How many artists can say that? Most of them are just out there bragging about things they don't have, or in the Underground, killing when they haven't lifted a finger, or smokin' out like everyone's already done it. No thanks, where's the reality in your taste? Bitter, but true is what I am. Grimey.
- Are there any plans for tour stops in other parts of the country?
This is the start of a never-ending concert schedule with plans of storming everywhere. Our target regional areas are the East Coast (NY, PA, VA, OH, MI, FL, MA, etc) but we are looking to expand South back into the DFW Texas territory and possible talks with a tour out West with 7th seal Entertainment in the summer to include California and Las Vegas, amongst other stops out Midwest like Indiana and Kentucky. In general, I am down to book a show anywhere, if someone would be willing to help pay for the travel expenses only, for booking please call the Crescendoville Hotline @ 716-901-3295 Anytime After 9PM!!!
- briefly tell us about your "juggalo" experience.
The JUGGALOS! My story is unbeknowest to anybody, really. You speak of a Dark Carnival, I actually lived it! When I was 16 I was living in Texas and I started hearing about ICP and they actually came out to Dallas with the purple & green van passing out Mr. Rotten Treats tapes and promoting the idea of the 6th Jokers' Cards, I didn't pay much attention until I played the tape and got Riddlebox & eventually Milenko came out and I was hooked. The very idea of a Juggalo - to be who YOU want to be, that's what it meant to me. Family like that, people you can trust.I also did alot of drugs back then constantly trippin' on cough medicine and painting my face with a wicked original design jacked by Killa C (Thanks dude!)And eventually started trying to make my own form of "rap music" as it was easier than trying to keep our countless amounts of metal bands together.Being in music before (I've been playing the keyboard since I was 6, my Aunt who was a famous country singer taught me) I had always wanted to delve into something new and creative, and a blend with my "darker side" couldn't be stopped when I learned about the Wicked Shxt!!!
- what did you grow up listening to?
I grew up listening to alot of classic rock like Van Halen, Black Sabbath, The Doors & The Beatles, which gave me my influence to sample old school music and make a new twist out of it. You'll hear familiar sounds from vinyls like Simon & Garfunkel, Pink Floyd, and alot of old school Jazz and R&B such as Marvin Gaye and Stevie Wonder, all the way to other music living in the South from swing to "Big Band" music and drum and bass, of course.
- How was this year's gathering?
Mission: Infect was definitely in the building, that's for sure. We hitler-marched through that whole place with gaskmasks gleaming and there was so many performances that the entire 4-day event was just complete insanity, I had alot of fun and met a ton of cool people, man... there is nothing like the Gatherings and if you haven't been to (or have) I hope to see every single one of y'all there!
- Last but not least, whats next?
SO much more is coming up, keep your ears glued to ya speakers!!! AND:Yo, MUCH love to Faygoluvers.net you guys have been holding it down for me since Day ONE for real! Shout outs to Scottie D and everybody involved in this wonderful & highly informative/innovative website - and if you all don't mind a plug here we go:

ATTENTION ALL CRESCENDOVILLIANS:
THIS IS FOR YOU MY PEOPLE

So listen here folks - I really just wanted to come up on here, devoid of random posts & bulletins and various cut & paste comments that it seems all of these other artists do to you... And just bring a sense of familiarity....because c'mon let's admit it, shit everybody I know is basically like my family to me. I'm not going to start off on a tantrum and say you have no idea what I go through in life, and that I'm down & out on my own roaming the streets constantly trying to find a roof over my head - you may be going through something even terribly worse, and I respect and understand every seperate persons' path of life.
No. What I'm trying to tell you, is I'm not just an "artist" or a "rapper" - I'm a human being, breathing, feeling, observing - just like you, and the people that you roll with. I see the groups everyone rolls with, and I do my homework on every single one of the people that choose to cross thier courses with me by however some time in thier lives they may need to be with me, or hear me, or even just see me as they would want to see themselves, as in doing ok for thierself (at which many think I am when they don't see me without the mask on).
Let me start off by saying I really do have a sentimental place in my heart for every single one of you real people who have came up to me in life with some kind of unsurmountable respect just to tell me my shit's fresh. It's those people, the very same people that I think about everyday. Whether it be the famine where I need to remember the days gone past in order to put back that smile on my face, or the feast where I'm grindin' and gettin' eager responses and serious feedback letting me know that what I'm doin' is what I'm supposed to be doing, for you. This music is like a therapy to me, and I don't get off on cussing people out lyrically dissing, or saying I've got guns when you're obviously compensating for something, or lacking thereof. I breathe that real life, in-depth character of the matter. I live to learn lessons, but I hate to burn bridges. Although, I can say I love building skyscrapers because with the network I have going on now, there's no telling when I'm 'bout to blow up so I can really start feeding the listeners.
I'd sit and complain about my life, thinking maybe you could relate better by reading it in words, instead of lyrically trying to comprehend it. But to me, it just doesn't feel passionate enough to express it to you. That concert performance last night changed me, let me tell you that. It opened my eyes to what I really need to do in this business, and it showed me that I won't be let down because people honestly believe in me. That gets to the heart, man. You guys and girls showed so much love & respect to me, I couldn't even begin to express my gratitude on here in this letter, or in a song, or even in person for that matter - I just need you to know that what you feel for me is reflected unto all of you 100x's more when I'm on that stage singing my heart & soul out to y'all.
I told you I don't spit garbage punchlines or gimmic killzones, I'm about what we call the struggle of surviving, and wondering if at the end, we're all going to come out on top, and get to kick it with one another righteously! I know there's a light at the end of this tunnel, and many souls watching over me to guide me on this journey in giving back to humanity what it has given to me. I am thankful for my opportunities and the worth to give a voice on a microphone where every single person in the audience will listen to me, regardless of bias gender or religion.
You are my rock, the faces that help put me to sleep at night. And I want to thank you, whomever's reading this right now, very personally from the depths of my soul. You're the person interested enough to view the on-going's of a struggling artist, and even still surviving, grinding, hard-working man.
There'd be no AJ without you guys, seriously. The Crescendo wouldn't have come about out of me if I didn't keep on my course with every single one of your reviews and constructive criticisms, for without you I'd probably be dead or in a ditch wishing I was - because that's pretty much all I have in reality anyways. It's really hard, and I am destined to do this and MAKE it, I know it. Your love and support help keep me grounded every day, so I don't pull a Cobain and leave it all behind. Heh.
On a lighter note, the show's footage will be posted up over at AJJordan.com very shortly, as well as pictures that I took with just about every live ass crew in that piece. You people were off the chain last night, and we all had a really great time being there for y'all, being able to do our new songs to see how the crowd would react just truely set it off. I can't wait until you see the footage, and apparently neither can y'all because I've been bombarded with emails all day asking me if it's online yet! We're hard at work over here at the studio, and accepting hundreds of friend requests per day is preeeetty crazy too...but definitely appreciated and truely flattering!!!
THANK YOU TO EVERYBODY ALL AROUND THE WORLD WHO'S SHOWN ME LOVE.
Keep it real.
                                                                   Sincerely Yours,
                                                                    AJ Jordan

Attention all rappers and singers worldwide around the globe! The new CD is ready to be dropped, and we're making some room to open the doors for collaborative ideas with other talented aspiring artists. If you'd like to feature AJ Jordan The Crescendo on your album, please drop him a line at: AJJordanisDead@Gmail.com with your name, telephone number, and a link to three of the best songs that showcase your talent.
$20.00 US Dollars: Hook - $25.00 US Dollars: Hook & Bridge
$30.00 US Dollars: 16 Bar Verse & Hook and/or Bridge
All musicial collaberations come complete with multitracked vocals, meaning ad-libs and harmonies along with main voals all on seperately recorded tracks. Songs can be collected via email, A.I.M., or by U.S. Mail in the form of a Data CD-R. Expect a turn-around time of no later than two weeks for the finished product, given recording time & the difficulty of the song. Furthermore, you will be added and promoted throughout the Underground to many fans far and wide, from the East Coast to the West Coast, and even Overseas. We have fans in just about every market of hip hop music that you can imagine. With many big names on our upcoming album ranging all the way from multi-platinum celebrity recording artist Akon to the grimiest gutter underground indie star DZK, you can be sure that your album will fit all age ranges once you feature the likes of The Crescendo on it, and everybody will be grabbing copies of your album to check YOU out, too! We're talking Teenagers, Local Hip Hop Heads in NY, Older Audiences ranging from 21-45, and we'll even be fishing around the concepts delved into with Record Label A&R's, Other Popular Artists, Promoters & Booking Agents, Concert Venues, and MORE! Western Union is the preferrable way to transfer funds after I have recorded my pieces to the song, and have sent you a sound sample of my work to ensure satisfaction. All tracks can be re-recorded, however we strongly urge that only serious parties need apply, we do not like doing work over again when you could have had it right the first time! Our studio is completely refurbished with the new equipment, such as our Akai1000 MPC, M-Box2 w/ Protools LE, and a Beringher B1 Studio Pro Microphone, Among other various instruments and useful hardware we have laying around the booth. Beats are available but limited, we suggest you have your own on hand and legitimitely own or license it (see below for details). Recording packages are neogitable based on the concept of your project & ideas, versus the time it takes to to actually get it done. Our studio in located right in the heart of Buffalo, NY and time slots are available now as cheap as $10 per hour! If you're a local artist looking to record, we suggest booking a slot of time with us no less than 4 hours and no more than 9. We will work hard with you throughout the night to get your track done and recorded along with my verse(s), but you must be ready to back up your finances along with the time you've solidarily wasted taking up in our studio, when your verses and/or hooks should have formatted beforehand. We have patience and tolerate things for the sake of business & music, but don't expect us to lower our standards of quality to meet your boundaires.   Onto the Internet collaberations - If you'd like to send your already pre-recorded song to me via email, please be sure to include your lyrics written in legible form as a .txt document attached with your message. Your song, lyrics, and beat must be 100% either owned and copyrighted by you and your group, or leased through another producer at which you can verify with me in advance. I am a professional entertainer & recording artist contractually obligated by the BMI publishing organization to uphold strong copyright laws, and infrictions will be frowned upon severly. Please make sure your material is ALL yours and completely original. Audio quality is a must, I expect you have good if not decent equipment to uphold your integrity. If you send me a wack song and want me to listen to it and ryhyme over it, not only will it ruin the song even more, but I will probably outshine you and I don't want to embarass any customer, or your possible "fans," for that matter. However, on the other hand - if I see you putting in work, and you are a respectable person with an attainable goal in life, then I will offer you your props and due regards, and we will jawn like madmen. In addition, we are currently looking to network with graphic designers or promoters knowledgeable of HTML to embark on a musicial infection advertising the best the Underground has to offer. If you'd like to work on thes projects with us, please include 1.) A picture of your art of graphic design, and 2.) Examples of Websites you have built or had a hand in creating, or Myspace Profiles that you have tweaked and think are neat. We're always on the hunt for a good team of troopers to hook up our starving artists. You've got to support your local musician, because music is life and without it we would all go out of our minds! This is why doing musicial collaborations enhance the fans' and listeners' experience - they get a chance to hear thier favorite artists come together for an agreeable cause, and let other people know about this new music that seeps deep beneath the Underground!! Remember - Only SERIOUS Writers, Emcees, Singers, Vocalists, Producers, DJ's, and Any other form of REAL Musical Composition will be considered for future work with The Crescendo. So get out that pen & pad, pop that beat on, and start puttin' some work in that mic!
