The Dossier is happy...well, no, happy wouldn't be the point...but dejectedly, sulkily pleased to be playing the latest Modern Problems party curated by indie heroes The Secret History Wednesday June 24 at Glasslands Gallery in Brooklyn. 

This outing promises "a deeply contrarian mix of pop, art and disco with bands playing sad songs jauntily, and jaunty songs miserably--in between, guest DJs will play only the finest tracks concerned with heartache, depression and general alienation." Sounds like our sort of spot. The City and Horses, Cheer!, and The Secret History themselves constitute the rest of the misery. Come drown your summer sorrows!

The Dossier plays live at the QxBxRx bash at Cake Shop Saturday June 6th, where we'll be taking the stage along with Sgt. Sass and Menya. DJs Sir Loins, AS IF & Massimo spit out a mix of rock, electro, homocore, dancepunk, death disco and more--do come early as there's the tantalizing promise of gratis alcohol from 11pm to midnight...!..
