boys 'n girls, new MERCH available at www.bambix.org new shirts, girlies, hoods and even also some rare cds one would have thought totally sold out (which is not completely untrue, because basically they are, and have been, for that matter) but no no, not in our little shop. we never sell out. and how cheap it all is!
I saw crossing common borders on amazon for 75 euros, in our shop they're 12. which means that you can buy AND Crossing AND Bambix Live in Sao Paulo, (sold out already back in the days when the Redemocratização was still doing baby-steps) for 24 euros.... and that's as little as: one crate of 24 beer (8.80), a bag of already cut brussels sprouts (2.24), an itchiepitchie little weed (5) 2 veggie schnitzels (4.26) and you can rent a dvd starring sarah shahi for 3.70. so it's either that, or those 2 cd's. for the same price. well what more do i have to say. imagine you had bought that crossing cd on amazon. then you could have bought 7 crates of beer, 6 bags of brussels sprouts, loads of weed, plenty of veggie burgers and the dvd in which sarah shahi does a karaoke version of new bambix songs in a tiny yellow dot bikini (that expensive rental one)!!!!
oh and those new shirts are also 12. Or 15, but that's for shirts with 47 color prints or that's what heinz power told me. talking about heinz power, last saturday he performed his new song 'the 3rd singer of memphis' live in Eberswalde, and for those who were there it was an unforgetable evening. in fact he even did the uncut version! well, what can i say.... goosebumps people! ....all over (that is, heinz had - i was getting more jagermeister). and diego mocci, i saw him more horizontally than vertically last weekend: in our van heinz power and moi drove, sang, peed, drove more, got gas, drove on and on, made coffee, made sandwich and puffo mocci was steadily in horizontal position on the backseat couch probably thanking god for being so lucky to have found us.... i admit during shows he proves us the other way round, so that's cool :)
so where was I? oh yeah...new merch! we also got new hoods. because it's winter. and with two italian studs in the band, i can either walk around with them wrapped up in big pink blankets, or give them a bambix hoody to wear. though the first one is more funny, the second one isn't an option when walking around in places like Bavaria. apparently they don't like pink there. so black hoodies can be bought in our shop too.
And did I tell you about the girlies? the new girlies don't even have the name bambix on them. simply because sometimes a B is enough! maybe we will end up being called B when we grow up. So than we have changed from 'dasdiebandmidiemeidjeserin' to 'Bambix' to B. let's see where it ends. ok now heinz power is coming over with the beer and the bass and unfortunately the mocci is sick at home (probably horizontal) so we're gonna duo-rehearse. Proost!

Zo. Wat een Hammer-idee zeg! Stuur even mailtje naar unabombita@gmail.com Abrazzzzzzz, Da Bombi X

2 new clips on this myspace:
You can see us on one of our brasilian tours playing Monozygotic live in Vitoria, Brasil. that was so fantastic, though we hardly managed to play our songs, the crowd took over. the sweat, the heat, the energy, the power. well it was one of the best shows ever. :D I also put up a clip of our best friends Nitrominds who cover that same song. Do check out how Andre sings the 'I family-tied you up' part, it goes right down my spine and back up again....Andre is really my best friend. Then check out Lalo playing bass and looking so concentrated as if he's cooking and making us something nice, we can't see his dance-moves in this clip but they are amazing! And for that last drumpiece, like the final part: Edu is like fuckin' ET playing drums, that's really extra-terrestrial, there's nobody in the world who would think of playing that, or who could even play it. That's like the effin' best drumparts i ever saw. I am happy to know you guys and that in October you'll get over to Europe and we'll be playing gigs with you and hanging out. I am honored. Thanks.

Well, basically we sat down and dominik drove. Many many kilometres. We sometimes got out of the van and took a piss or woke up and read very interesting novels. Occasionally we listened to music like Johnnie Rook or Turbonegra. We crossed mountains, and picknicked in sunny meadows or just stopped at a gasstation. At nights we played clubs. Like first one, Weinheim, where blikkboks and we played really sweaty shows right before the US troops of Turbonegra took over. What a great night. And morning, cuz when the sun came up we were still dancing in room number 12. Turbonegra rules!.... We headed to Lennestadt, where we played with Adam West. From the ....US.... too, but not really troops. They didn’t bring bubble-gum and had a strict non-smoking policy and so we didn’t know where to go and just stood outside and ate crisps. The show was ok, but I think kids there would have preferred the Ramones..... Then it was another ..500 miles.. to Pilzen, Czechia. The Pod Lampou was a great club. Such nice people and great show. We sold so many merch we can basically now lay back somewhere at the Isla Bonita. But that’s not us. We go on no matter what! Spread the oldskool punk attitude. So after the show we watched Turbo Negro on dvd and saw lots of people changing from dancing to lying between barstools. .... My mother always used to say if you can do it at night, you can do it in the morning. No matter how I tried, I have to say my mom is not always right. Somebody dragged me 600 km's to ....Vienna..... .... Next door Walls of Jericho and some 8 other hardcore/metal bands played that night, so at first I was wondering why they booked us on that date. But luckily it turned out there were lots of people who preferred to hang out with us. Awesome! I liked it a lot, Wien war super, as always..... In ....Stuttgart.... we met Sucubus. Dominik explained to us that’s creatures sucking out life in men. So no wonder police came when they played. Once we got rid of them (the police, not the band) we rocked out on the aquarium. Not only the girl from ..Rio.. had a great time, so did we. Thanks Micha and Café Stella!.... Then we thought we wanted to play heidi and peter. So we went to Luzern. Boris is one of the finest people in the universe and it was so great and after our show we even did a rehearsal on stage to which people were dancing. The spliffs. The spliffs..... It was so great at Sedel we decided to cancel the rest of the day and stay there. What a place to be woken up by cows licking at your toes and then getting free tickets to see Abwaerts and Tight Finks. So that’s where we were and we danced the night away..... When we crossed the Gotthart, we were in the snow. Dominik went out of the van and walked in a lake. We ate olives in the van and just stared at him. He wanted to take pics of Bambix in the snow. We only ate more olives and stared at him. We went on to ....Italy.... on the Roman road. ‘What scenery!’ Sjappi said whilst turning from left to right in his pyjamas. .... ....Brescia.... was nice. We got pizza margarita. You know, the one you never order. But then again, we got six. So six of the one you never order. We played with a great band that night RIV and we had the best sound on stage. So we rocked out, and people were staring at us as if we were eating olives. That’s why we went to Milano the next day. Cox ..18. a.. great squat, great people, the food?!, the table with food?! It was as if the queen and her following had entered the building. Gig was great, we liked it a lot and so did the audience, Rio had his birthday and since he came from Japan, Sjappie did a Japanese version of the song we thought we all know but didn’t . Thanks guys!.... The road back was awfull. Don’t wanna think of it. But we were at the Subway, in Weinheim, where you can get a meter-long sandwich with a complete sheep in it. I stayed in the van and drank some left-over olive-water. But anyway, a Subway where they play Snuff and lots of metal should get a medal. .... At home I thought , wow what a superb, fuckin’ great tour this was. Then it was time for a wee nap. Bye! XX wick ....

Ola minha chicos e chicas! From 10th of October on we're gonna start another european tour, playing 5 countries in 10 days. Germany, Czech Republic, Italy, Switzerland and Austria.Hope to catch up with y'all!! Right before this upcoming tour we present some great new shirts for you:
The one and only Turbosenioren Nijmegen shirt: All that promotion for Jugend, don't the Senioren deserve some more respect? They are the ones who started everything you listen to, played all the chords you now sing along to, taught you to think clearly. And, hey, they didn't want punk to change into some mainstream throw-away object, so all hail to the SENIOREN punx. That's why.

The highly-acclaimed PI shirt: a reaction to that same nag nag nag shit with numbers, Robin Van Persie wanted a PI, so he gets a PI. All hail to the PI! My little pony..ehh..punkband-shirt, we're not a pony, we're a punkband! But since we like ponies, we added a skull..... and for all you catpeople: the scratched bobcat. I took that logo from some worn-out electrical device near the Hopi Reservation, So it's kinda scratched, but therefore looks like what a real bobcat would do to you if it would get you cornered somewhere behind a cactus! Order now, you'll have yr gear within a week. Check out the merchsection on www.bambix.org -- Hurray!

We're working on a split-cd with unreleased songs. more news on that soon. Wick sang along on the new Johnnie Rook record ( songs that will really blow you away: check them out on our friend-section). and if you got shit to do check out www.flickr.com for hundreds of recent tour-pics of Bambix. In the upcoming weeks our merch-section on www.bambix.org will get a new boost with brand-new logos and shirts to make you look really smart and handsome.

oh, just saw manchester united win. edwin did it. great job. means we're back in holland. miss brasil already. what happened?
we played curitiba, the town that first released leitmotiv, great show, very nice people. had a lot of people singing along, we did all the old songs. played over 20 songs and didn't get enough of it. i believe peter and patrick ended up at a what- was - it? goth party? but i'm not sure. they sure as hell looked like they did the next day.
then it was time for maringa. haha maringa. oh maringa what have you done to me yah. i had a temp of 34 degrees, so i did not have a fever, but what did i have? well i was cold. luckily some very nice bands played. Banda So What played and 350 ml, our old buddies. and though being almost electrocuted we put the pedal to the metal. I believe peter and patrick ended up at a disco club but i'm not sure. they sure as hell had lots of glitters around their lips the next day.
so i was in bed on the last day, my temp still 34. the others went for a soundcheck, i was all alone. and cold. did noone ever see that part of syl the strandjutter where people who are so cold can only be helped by putting their naked body against someone elses? so there i was with a cat. anyway, when i got to clash club, it did not take long to get really hot cuz nitrominds played and they are my favorite band ever. it was as if enrique iglesias came on when it was our time, the screaming went on and on, and it was only us? how nice to see the audience longed for us as much as we did for them. It was such a rad show. so fucking muito foda. i really loved it. the energy, the emotion, the strength. i got such energy. afterwards we hung out at a bar outside. and i had a great time with nicole and heads and the very pretty girls from brigite, bia and m. who flew over from Rio. Thanks for the tour everyone. it was so great. we love you all. beijos e abrazz de bambix. ate mais. du caralho. muito legal, muito foda. xxx

so goodmorning, we went to galeria, shopping. drinking vitaminas, buying reggae shirts and mugs of black sabbath. shoes as well. many. we were lucky to meet a friend again who happened to be a gardener too, so after talking about spades we talked the real shit. the tv show is postponed to sabado at the show, they will take live shots. muito foda. so at the galeria we walked around like old women on pms and spent muito dinero aqui. then we went to lalos place. his mother made delicious food. drank muitos mais bohemians. now sjap is making some scheps von ein slaatje. and brings me those yellow off beans that i am so fond of. its nice to have such nice bandmates. althought they are lazy and basically just vegetate, they rock like hell.

maconha sjappescimo. we are in brasil. and happy to. andre of nitrominds is doing a great job and to have monsigneur caca along is muito foda tambem. added to that, the great band that we are, it all started way back on about last friday. we went by plane and flew directly into marcos bar, where we saw some people we never saw before. and also our real good friends, the nitrominds.
first thing the next day was buying some eschnellas and getting over to marcos bar.
the third day was also nice, we played in taquaritinga. nice people, classic rock aftershow.
on the fourth day he giveth us sao jose dos campos. we watched my name is earl on dvd all the time. great dancing and singing, met paula, rocked with street123 and laughed with the suffers. never heard them, already like them. carla singing julie was amazing. x
dan hadden wij die tv-internet show on oi. clemente of inocentes was presenting the show. sound was great, the internettraffic enormous. thanks
and hey... no dexter hollands anarchy air here, so we took the much better oceanair. we flew to salvador, zauber. whilst on the beach watching liverpool chelsea, ate rosti in kurt~s bar, refused coke all the time, people were clapping to the sunset. that~s showing respect. the bar was real cool in an old settlement tower. max was nice. very hot show, and we played like forbidden.
aracaju, why didn~t someone ever told us there was a place like that. we would have been there many times before. what great audience, beautiful people, best singing along, muito foda. the swimming pool at the hotel added to the great mood we were in.
8 hours in a great bus to recife was like doing 1hour in our own van. those chairs were so rad. played big festival. caca got really bravo to get things done. we met noskill, very foda pessoas, signed 136 pair of shoes, 72 real dollars, 1 pair of cheeks * those one *, 3 sweaty towels, some cds and got some chains.

Audience great, pessoas muitos appaixionados. There was some police. Sjap and peter ended up doing some samba caipirinha stuff in some scruffy place.
Offday at the beach in Maceio. Ofcourse it rained.
Then flew back to sao Paulo. We are now in good shape and therefore can write this blog. Next two will be TV and the we play in curitiba, maringa and sao Paulo. Look forward to it. Obrigado. Sankt Pauli sem gas. Dois cervejas mais por favor. Ate mais.
