Ok, heres the deal. Lollapalooza is a three day music festival from aug 4-6th. It features some of the most incredible live musicians and artists to exist. Truly a dream gig for sure. So, I was checking the offcial concert website last week and found out that they are going to have an online battle of the bands to compete for a spot to play live at lollapalooza. After some debating in my head, I decided to throw SMALL SHINY THINGS (my band) into the ring. The favor I need from you is to go to http://www.lollapalooza.com and vote for my band to gain entry in to the second round which is picked by event coordinator Perry Farrell. You are allowed to vote once everyday. All we need to do is crack the top 25 vote getters to at least get a chance to play. I know many of you would beleive that it's a long shot, it is. But I think we have very good chances to do well.
Ok- Heres the steps- 1) log onto http://www.lollapalooza.com 2) Find the "Last band standing" link at the bottom right-hand corner- 3) Choose "s" for small shiny things and PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE vote everyday!(which you can do) 4) If you have a freind or 3 that could help voting, that would be really great ;-) 5) You will have an overwhelming feeling of joy by helping our little band! Thanks in advance--- Sincerely Chris Bauler, Kevin Trudo, Jay Olaszek, Ron Donavon and Matt McCain

Sometimes I fuck around on myspace and it occurs to me that a lot of people use it like they read books-they only look at the pictures.Having been doing that fucking around thing I have three thoughts to share: 1. I love my girlfiend. 2. I'm ashamed to be a boy. 3. When people keep saying that they "love to party" do they mean "party" like I used to mean "party" when I used to, you know, "party"? If so, y'all are some naughty motherfuckers and you're gonna make the next generation of onto laryngologists rich. (there's just so many of you)
