This is footage of us playing Alexander's Sunday Showcase 17/6/07.

This is quite old. It's a video of our first tour with the Black Light Project and Deflowering Venus. Quality isn't brilliant, but then the quality of the tour wasn't brilliant either lol.

It's a bit long so make yourself a cup of tea before you watch it.

If it doesn't embed properly visit: http://www.archive.org/details/ColdNews_Tour_Video_2003

Here's a bit of a bootleg video of Andy playing 'Save The Day' at Alexanders. Thanks to James for uploading this.

It's looking like Gary will be away with the TA for three months as of July so basically we're going to need a new bass player at that time.
The position will either be permanent or temporary depending on how everybody feels.

If anyone's interested, let us know.
You'd need to be available to play a lot of gigs in Chester and further afield as we'll be promoting our album, so if you have a job which is constantly calling you in to work at unsociable times or if you have lots of other commitments then it probably wouldn't work out.

Thought I should post a new blog on the progress of our recording.
We've been busy locked away in the studio, demoing tracks for our album. It's all sounding good, probably better than most of the recordings we've done in the past. It's definitely tighter now we have a more permanent and commited line-up. We'll be drafting in the production and engineering help of Chi from ColdNews for the finished product.
I'm keen to take down the demo tracks we have up at the moment and get some fresher sounding stuff up for stream, but I'm going to wait 'til we're pretty close to the finished article and not jump the gun.
Our album is planned for release this year and will be the debut  for Pluscore Records.

How did it go?

The Spalding gig was good. Jimmy at the Annexe has a very good attitude to bands and we enjoyed playing there.

The Kingston gig was good. It was really cool to play with the Blow Ups again and we got a pretty good turnout.

The Swindon gig we'd had to cancel because ****************.

The Guisborough gig was good. I'd say the best gig of the tour. Weam has done a seriously decent job of promoting his nights and the people there seem really enthusiastic to go see bands.

The Liverpool gig was crap. I knew it was gonna be crap, but I have to admit I wasn't quite prepared for just how crap. Liverpool is a crap city with no where enough interest in music to be worthy of the incredibly pretentious title 'Capital Of Culture'. A decision that had been made before this gig was underlined even more by the end of the night, that we will not play Liverpool City Centre any more. I have no interest in playing a dead city when as a band we receive a much more positive response in the other areas we play.

Stay tuned everyone, hope to see you soon.
