SUNDAY NIGHT WHITE BEACH FESTIVAL JAPAN

TONIGHT'S SHOW WAS ONE OF THE TOUGHEST YET MOST REWARDING SHOWS I HAVE EVER PLAYED!  FROM THE VERY BEGINNING THERE WAS SOUND ISSUES WHICH KINDA THREW ME INTO A BAD SPACE.  NOT TO MENTION, THERE WAS A LANGUAGE BARRIER WITH MOST OUR CROWD.  I KINDA STARTED GOOFING AROUND WITH THE AUDIENCE AS WE DID A SOUND CHECK THAT FELT LIKE IT TOOK HOURS!!! I GAVE A SHIRT AWAY TO A OLDER ASIAN GENTLEMAN WHO WAS PATIENTLY WAITING FOR THE MUSIC TO START!  SUDDENLY, HE TOOK OFF HIS SHIRT AND PUT ON HIS DAMIEN HORNE SHIRT!!! MY MOOD BEGAN TO SHIFT.  WE STARTED WITH AINT SHE AND AS THE SET PROGRESSED I WATCH A CROWD OF PEOPLE WHO I NEVER MET AND COULD NOT SPEAK THEIR LANGUAGE SEEM TO HANG ON EVERY WORD.  IT WAS AMAZING!  THEY BEGAN TO DANCE, CLAP, SING, SMILE, AND SOAK IN THE EXPERIENCE AS DID I!!!! BY THE END OF THE SHOW THEY WERE SCREAMING FOR ONE MORE SONG SO WE HIT THEM WIT SUNTAN SUPERMAN AND THEY LAUGHED STOOD AND CLAPPED!!! I CANT REMEMBER THE LAST TIME I DID THAT MANY BACKFLIPS OFF THE STAGE OR DANCED HAS MUCH AS I DID BUT JUST TO SEE WHAT I SAW HAPPEN I WOULD DO IT ALL AGAIN!!! MUSIC REALLY IS THE UNIVERSAL LANGUAGE!!! I LOVE THIS GIFT GOD HAS GIVEN ME!!! DOMO ARRIGATO TO THE PEOPLE OF JAPAN FOR BEING PART OF THE MISTA D EXPERIENCE!!!!!

In honor of Michael Jackson's birthday (8/29) and of the 30th anniversary of the release of his seminal album, Off the Wall, Kid Electric Concerts has compiled yet another group of amazing local musicians who will perform that record in its entirety at Mercy Lounge. The line-up of vocalists alone is stellar, as it will includes the likes of Damien Horne (Muzik Mafia),  Lisa Kimmey and many more.

Kid Electric Concerts is a non-profit organization that presents events such as these to benefit local charities. For this event, all proceeds will be donated to Boys and Girls Club of Middle Tennesse.

In addition to the live performance of this amazing record, there will be prize giveaways throughout the evening, a Michael Jackson dance contest during the intermission, and a DJ spinning Michael Jackson classics after the show and much more.
