Yeah so we suck at keeping up with these things. We're home now and i thought we'd give a brief (well as brief as possible) overvue of the tour where we left off in the last blog. Lets see, we spent the 4th of July at Kyle's dads where we went to a block party, drank all the alcohol, and lit off like 200 morter shells. Good times! We had the next day off again so we hiked up to Granite Falls and went to the ice caves up there. It was incredible! We'll try and post some pics. The next day we played Spokane and it ruled. We really had a good time in Spokane, awsome venue. Check this out, we played this coffe shop called Rock Coffee where they serve beer and wine. In a coffee shop!!! Kick ass!! We met some awsome peeps there too and the kids loved the set. Spokane is a way bigger city than we thought. That night we thought we were going to get to stay in a castle but when we got there it wasn't very castle like, and we weren't alowed to stay past 5:00am. So we found a camp ground and slept there all day.
The next show was in Yakima. Eastern WA sucks! It's hot and there's not nearly as many trees as it's counter part. Anyways, the show was great and the kids in Yakima were cool. After the show we started the drive from hell. We had to drive from Yakima to Fresno to make Warped Tour, and thats about 1,000 mi. That night Kyle & Cam missed some turn off somewhere that took us off coarse about 60 miles. We were low on gas and started to watch for gas stations. We continued to watch for gas stations for the next 150 miles with no luck. We were at the Washington/Oregon border driving along the banks of the Columbian when we decided to face our fate. And at 2am we ran out of gas. The tow truck arrived with gas at about 4am and we were on our way again.
We decided to take break and get some rest before Warped (and i use the word "rest" lightly) in Yuba City with our niggaz Ten Falls Forth. We actually watched the gay ass UFC fight and partied through the night. The next day we got to the Warped Tour at about 8am and just hung out and watched it come to life. Our set was at noon, an hour after the gates opened, and we were up against Aiden,Emery, and Helmet. But needless to say some kids hung out and watched us. We had a really good time and played a good set. Thanx to the kids from Bako for supporting us. It was fucking HOT!!! We really didn't care about watching other bands or schmoozing, all we cared about was trying to cool off because we were dying after our set. Trout got heat exhaustion and Myke got heat stroke. After hot ass Warped Tour we went home for a few days because a couple of shows got cancled and we had to cancel some because we were out of money. We spent our last $20 on gas to get home.
When we headed out again, our first stop was Victorville. We got this show at the last minute (thanx Jon!!) and we were pretty skeptical about it because we were playing w/Scars of Tomorow. But when we got there we were really exited because something was going to happen that we never thought would. We were going to play w/Skare Tactic!! Not only do we love that band, but we always thought it would be funny to play w/them for obvious reasons and never thought we would because they're so toughguy/hardcore. Anyways, we still didn't know how the kids were going to react because we were playing w/six hardcore bands and we were back in cali where that matters. But they were actually really cool and it became one of our favorite shows of tour. Skare Tactic was so awsome, great band and super cool dudes, watch for a colaboration coming soon!(SKAREOTACTIC BIOTCH!!)
To be continued.....................................................soon!!
