the united waste are planning on hitting the studio to begin recording our upcoming full length soon... we'll be aiming for 12-14 tracks of those aggressive, politically charged anthems we hope you've come to love... but here's the trick... after a long discussion we've decided to include two of the tracks from our EP on the album... we'll be rerecording them with new guitars, vocals and all... so here's where you come in... we can't figure out what two songs to include so we decided why not let you guys decide for us... we want to know what you want to hear... reply and let us know:

why?
middle class coffins
awarness
struggle on

you guys have know clue what your love and support means to us... we couldn't do it without you... you've helped this local music scene thrive with new musicians who are hopefully a breath of fresh air to the area... and with our brothers in arms at large, late night zero and one last fight (just to name a few) we hope to continue bringing you guys kick ass tunes for years to come...

much love,

Hey guys

I would like to start this blog by thanking everyone who has been coming out to the shows.

We have some more shows coming up with At large, The Independents, Late Night Zero, The Makeout, Marx Revolution and others....

We have some new patches, shirts, and buttons on the way.

And a full length is in the near future.

Thanks for supporting your local music scene.

Last night, we played at the Meathouse in Pearisburg.

The Meathouse is something that EVERY TOWN NEEDS!

We loved the Meathouse. It was great.

It may have only seemed like just another show, but it wasn't.

Ok, I have had a really hard time summing up what the Meathouse was like. It was everything we hoped it would be. It was small. It was cold. It was cramped. People were moving. People were helping out the bands. People had fun. It not only was a breath of fresh air, but it is something that I wish everyone could experience.

If you live in the Pearisburg area and you don't go to the Meathouse, then shame on you. You take for granted something that most towns don't have. A venue, a shelter, a place for all people, young and old, can go and have a good time.

I wish we would have had a Meathouse in my hometown.

Thanks to all the bands that played.

We not only want to thank the Meathouse for having us, but we would also like to thank the Meathouse for existing.

Hello to all!!!!!!!!!!!

This summer, after a long period of silence, The United Waste is back.

With that being said, The United Waste recently finished their VERY FIRST EP!! Yes, after the band started playing in the Fall of '01, we finally recorded an actual demo/ep.  We decided to go with Bebop Studios.  Bebop is a great studio based out of Morgantown, WV.  We grew up with the guys that run Bebop, so we knew that they would make us happy.  They did so much more than that.  We strongly recommend checking these guys out.  Especially if your musical talent is larger than your wallet.

The ep is entitled Middle Class and will be released by Riot City  Records.

For more information about Bebop Studios and Riot City Records go to

www.bebopstudios.net .

        BY THE WAY.....

EVERYONE  NEEDS to come tot the Rec show this Friday.  Friday, September 28th at 8:00, will be the Late Night Zero, At Large, and The United Waste.  This is the official release date of the ep.  We will be giving out about 20 or so copies of the cd FREE.  YES, FREE MUSIC.  Then at our next show we will have the cd on sale.  Look for our mp3s to be up Saturday, September 29th.

More than likely, if you come up to one of us, we will find you a cd.  So, if you come you will probably get a free copy.

Um, if you are feeling extra special, the Rec Show is going to be a Wyoming County theme show.  So, wear your best redneck attire.

Thanks

Mike
