Today I've been wondering how to stay on. My brain hurts from trying to force myself to be creative. What happens when it just doesn't work?

National Championship baby!!
And after being able to watch all the games this season...thanks to the dvr...
what a splenterriflorious close to the season.
I know I know it’s already been a couple of days, but I’m just still so elated.
Thank you KU.

Who would’ve thunk it, Kat, posting a sports blog.

But it was such a great match-up vs. Memphis.
Chalmers hittin the 3 to send it into OT.

You guys and gals Rock!
Since I posted the bulletin about needing help with my album cover, I've gotten responses from some dope ass artists and slick ass designers. Thank you! I'm constantly impressed with the works I've been receiving!
If you by chance missed the bulletin..
I sent one out yesterday about how I need help in the visual department...
I've recently completed my first solo endeavor.
Title: Natural Phenomenons
It is an all instrumental album with all instruments played by.. you guessed it, yours truly :) with a few exceptions where Max is on drums, Headnodic does some co-production, and Woodstock programs some drums. Anyways, I'm damn proud of it and now it needs an album cover.
This is where ya'll come in.
If you would like to submit any work that you've done, you can via email:
kat@crowncityrockers.com

Now, this is my labour of love, I have no label backing me, and I have no budget.
All I can offer is my deepest respect for your art, full credit, and maybe a trade that we could work out somehow.
If you're still interested, you can peep a 5 min mp3 snippet of selected songs here:

http://www.crowncityrockers.com/o1o/mp3/O1OSnippets.mp3

If you'd like some direction, there are some album covers I dig, plus song titles and images the songs inspired here:

Thanks again to all of you who have already shown me how dope you are!

IN LOVING MEMORY OF DR. ROBERT MOOG
Bob Moog - one of the most influential innovators in the history of music. He invented the incredible and monstrous Moog synthesizer, which then spawned the whole Moog family. I am forever indebted to this man for creating the machines that make the sounds that really and truly touch my soul.

He left his body behind on August 21st, 2005. He was 71. "Bob was warm and outgoing. He enjoyed meeting people from all over the world. He especially appreciated..."the magical connection" between music-makers and their instruments." - Moogmusic.com

So we were in Missoula, MT and we played this kick ass show with everybody having a great time. Everyone was leaving and my friend Kaz was like, "Kat, I got some bad news... Some drunk girl got onstage and stole your Crown City Rockers banner." So if anyone in Missoula sees our banner hanging anywhere.. take that shit back and let us know the next time we're in your town. She just might get a knuckle sandwich :)
