Hi there (is there anybody out there?)
First impressions after the release of my second album. I've been positively surprised by the good reactions people got after listening to it. And even more impressed by the number of people who downloaded it from the Lost Children page in such a few time. Thanks to all of you, for your time and passion. And thanks to the broadband, probably no-one, apart from my girlfriend and my dog, would have the "chance" to listen to my songs if we still had 56kbps modems!
But the release of the cd has produced another interesting (worryngly?) consequence: after months, I've re-discovered the pleasure of listening to music, of discovering new bands & sounds, of immerging myself in the unique sensation that those notes can create. I got trapped by my music, and now I'm free again. If any artist is reading this, I'de be interested in knowing if someone else has experienced this feeling.
The cool thing is that this seems to have a positive effect not only on the listener, but also on the composer. Right now I do not feel "Inspired by a galaxy", but by a complete sense of freedom in my head.
Or maybe it's just the spring.
