Sounds solid, right?
Then why the hell is it so hard for some to follow it? Why do some feel the need to deliberately go the wrong way when they know that whatever's staring them in the face is good? If they KNOW it's good and right and true... then why waste of time?
I thought about it. And maybe... Maybe they just needed closure. Maybe they went and tried it so they'll never have the hanging "What If" over their little mind. Maybe they were just testing the grounds. Maybe they were testing the promises of others. I dunno...
Sometimes I'd rather not know why.
I'm just wondering if it's possible for two people to be happy.
Seriously. To really be at peace, and no one can get in the middle and cause any 'reconsiderations.' For two people to look at each other, and want nothing more.
One month, you can't live without 'em.
The next... It hurts to look even at their picture.
I guess.. It'd just be nice to be reassured.
It'd be really nice to just look back at those memories, and smile. Smile because you know the future holds something better.
Once you've hit rock bottom, there's nowhere to go but up.
