Funktion fans! Three chances to get freakishly funky with FUNKTION this Halloween weekend.

Thursday, October 30th - Boomerangs (Kalamazoo) - Start out the Halloween weekend "on the good foot." Come in costume. We'll be debuting some new original songs, and there are sure to be a few other surprises. 10 to 2. No cover.

Friday, October 31st - Harveys (Kalamazoo) - Halloween night w/ Brother Bill. Punk and Funk. Brother Bill takes the stage from 8 to 10:30, followed by your favorite West Michigan funk band from 11 to 2. No cover.

Saturday, November 1st - The BOB (Grand Rapids) - THE B.O.B.'S ANNUAL HALLOWEEN ROCK BASH w/ WLAV;  Funktion will be providing the live entertainment for this GR Halloween tradition. Costume Contest ($1000 prize for the overall winner!). Doors open at 7. Music from 9 to 1. For more information check out www.thebob.com.

TONIGHT!! Funktion @ Boomerangs 10 to 2. Get funky and get registered to vote. We'll have a non-partisan representative on hand getting folks registered.

Saturday Oct. 4th - PORKAPALOOZA. This is an all day festival and pig roast featuring ten local bands including Funktion (of course), Who Hit John, Los Bandits, Dunuya, Jen Sygit and Tamineh Gueramy, Mark Duval and Two Track Mind, and more. Funktion will be joined on stage by special guests Brotha James on percussion and Uncle Raff ..s .There will be local food provided by the Journeyman Restaurant, local beer provided by New Holland Brewery, and local wine from Fenn Valley Winery.
