Welcome Dear Foreign Investors, You don't know me and I understand you might be apprehensive but I am writing to ask you to help take my money. You see, I live in Africa where everyone hear has too much money, so I have business proposal for you. I will give you my $100 fukkillion in US currency IF you go see Sweet Interference at the Rock & Roll Hotel (1353 H Street, NE Washington DC) this Saturday. You see, Sweet Interference are gods in our country (which is in Africa, don't worry about the name of the country). They determine the currency here, which is based in Interferons (1 Interferon = $100 US, and 1 Sweet Interferon = $1000 US). They also make the laws, and we only listen to Sweet Interference here as well. So now you trust me, right? Say yes? Yes! Great, I'm glad we could come to this agreement. So you go see our gods in your country and we shall deposit said moneys into your account. Sweet Interference will be playing with lesser dieties (but still Awesome Bands!) like Five Four, Bellflur, and Gaslight Society as well. Show starts at 9. Be there and I will arrange for said wire transfer. Sincerely, Generalisimo Mickala Sexu Upp Aton

I wanted to take a moment to comment on the recent song "Combination PizzaHut & Taco Bell" by rappers, Das Racist and Wallpaper. If you have not heard it yet, you can visit the link here. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vyfc10qDcR4The song reflects the sad undertones when 2 giants are merged into one. Of course it seems like a good idea. Why not get a gordita with that cheese pizza, so you don't have to stop twice? Or why not get a pizza that tastes like taco, or buy a taco that reaks of pizza dough and pepperoni? When you combine 2 potent flavors like this, you're playing with fire. Also, Sweet Interference will be playing at The Triple in Richmond this Saturday night and the next show after that will be a BIG one - August 8th Rock & Roll Hotel. See you all soon. hey guys and gals, first and foremost- a big thank you goes to each and everyone of you for supporting us in your own ways. whether its coming out to every show you can, buying our cd on itunes, or just keeping us in your thoughts while we work our way up the music food chain. it all means a lot to the five of us. for those of you who didn't know, our second album- we never draw hearts anymore- is on itunes. when you get a moment check it out. buy it. if you already own own it, rate it and leave a review. the last few months have been very interesting for us. we decided to continue on as a 5-piece and have been really focusing our music down on what makes our band special. so far everyone seems to like the new material. we even plan on recording a new album soon which we'll probably split into two EPs. if you haven't heard the new jams yet, you should make every effort to make it out to our next big show. we'll be playing at Rock and Roll Hotel on august 8th! we'd love to really blow this show out of the water numbers-wise. and probably one of the best ways you can support is is to tell your friend about us, bring them out to shows with you... play them your favorite tracks... get the acquainted with sweet interference. with out further brain vomiting... here's a link to buy tickets in advanced. oh yeah, and it's ALL AGES. so, for those who have been barred from the club due to your age- this show is for you. peace, love and popsicles, nikki dee

Current mood: stoked
Hey all. We have been practicing like fiends the past two weeks to get ready for our show this Saturday night at the Red and the Black with Hey Arbore and BAMA. Jon is going to be at his sister's wedding so Chris will be playing drums at the show. It will be a new experience for all of us, so come and let us know what you think. For those moog and keyboard lovers out there, this show is for you! See you Saturday! Moira

That's right. We played a kick-ass show last Friday, headlining at the Rock & Roll Hotel!! I'd like to thank Becky, Liz, Big Tony, Cyrus (the guy who reminds me of Cee-Lo from Gnarls Barkley), that other girl that Chris knows that came and her friend, Mughon and friend (sp??), Curtis from b-more and Meg and their 2 friends, Mo's Momma, Katy - concubine of Jon, my kwazy family, well-dressed Tyler, and those fans whom I stupidly forgot. Also want to give a shout-out to the other bands who helped make it possible: Finver Four, Deville, and Dangerosa (starting to really dig their sound). Our next show is this Friday in Richmond at The Triple. Wish your road-warrior-rockers the best, and we'll continue to bring our off-brand cockabily to the masses! Mick (Lead Guitarist) the 'Ference
