Hey Hooligans,
       It's been too long since i last posted. I need to correct that and post more often.
Anyhow here's the low down on what's been goin on.

First off we were working on a page on another social media site (which i think this may cross post there) and were waiting for verification to upload our music on there before we announced it was up. Well 2 business days for verification turned into 2 months and we are still waiting. We almost said screw it and removed the page but that doesn't help us or you. So we decided to put the page up as is check us out here. Until we get approval this here is the only place at this time you can hear our tracks.

Now that's out of the way.

Stripped our instrumental album is almost completed working on the last 2 or 3 tracks now. Will be released as soon as the last tracks are done, and will keep you posted on
where you are able to download the album. We tried to challenge ourselves and experiment with different sounds. Can't wait for yall to hear it.

Hey my degenerates and hooligans,
       Just wanted to post something up for my peeps at Citybeat Radio. Who after 3+ years will be going off air tomorrow.

I want to thank all the of the Djs and listeners at Citybeat it was nice meeting and chatting it up with you guys. I appreciate all the love and support from you guys and hope to continue to chat with you all.

It's sad that Citybeat radio will be going off air, but they say all good things must eventually come to an end. Also when a door closes another one opens, so I hope for everyone that another door does open and leads you all on your desired path.

Tomorrow Citybeat radio goes off air, but the music will never fade out.

Hey what's good my hooligans and degenerates.

I know its been a while since i posted anything here so i thought I'd post up some info for ya.

I've done more jingles for peeps so if you don't already listen to those shows check em out and help support those that support us.

Did a few for Soundcheckradio you can catch my homie Dj Dirtee doing his thing over there thursday nights.

Also for my homie Dj Paul Rees doin it up saturday nights over at SenseFM, you can check out his site http://www.djpaulrees.com/ for any info.

I've also been asked to do other jingles too, but nothing finalized yet but you'll here about it here..heh. Once again please show some love to those that support us.

Phane and I are still working on getting stuff out there, enough tracks have been made at this point its a matter of when things are coming out, not what.
Some stuff is done, I'm just waiting for the green light to be able to talk about it and promote it.

Well its not exactly the update that you were waiting for or that i was hoping to post. I know, I know you guys cant wait for the EP. Hell i cant wait for yall to hear it. But i could go on all day about that so lets just jump into what i updated here.

Social networks..lol. I know myspace is one. Believe it or not there are others, and for different things. Anyhow if you check the page now you will see a few new links so i will give a brief synopsis of why they are there.

Pownce, i use that to post random thoughts. Share links of web wackyness that ive come across...you get the idea.

Twitter, i post updates on what im up to, also random thoughts. On myspace you will be able to see the updates as well. Dont let that discourage you from following me though if your on twitter.

Last FM, thought it would be fun for you guys to see what ive been listening to. Ill just tell ya now, it keeps track of my ipod which shuffles everything thats in there all the time.
There are also maybe one or two more places you can find me once i find links on their site ill share them here. So if you are on any of these other places, feel free to add me.

O i also posted up pics of my Chaos Effekt Splattered Ink Cell Phone, I like to stick the logo anywhere i can, saw the opportunity to put it on my phone..and well if you didnt already, check it out.

Hey peeps,
       Just wanted to let you know that i handed over my jingles (promo spots) over to citybeatradio.org. They loved em...lol.. more then i thought they would.
I think i did like 4 serious ones, and then 2 jokes ones just for personal use never thought they would make it on the air. Turns out one of the joke ones they loved so much, it must have aired like 8 times the night i handed em over..heh

One of the things that baffled me was hearing how i raised the bar for jingles, just struck me as odd since i thought i took it to the curb....lol

So not only do i have jingles that are airing on citybeatradio, but i have been asked to do others too. Which is cool, like i said its all about showing love to those that show us love.

So if you tune into citybeatradio.org, you may just hear me..

I just wanted to post a lil note up to thank you guyz so much. The response from the CBTS snippets has been amazing. I cant wait for you guys to hear it once its done, which should be in a few weeks. With the CBTS EP we were trying a few new things, and well....you guys loved it. Thanks to all of the Effekted for the love and support... You rock!!

Just wanted to keep you guys up to date on something that is going on.

My friends over at Citybeat Radio, have asked me to do a few jingles for them (by that i mean promos, im not doing some cheesy commercial to sell you shit you dont need or want..just to get that clear).
So basically if your listening to citybeatradio, you just may hear my voice in between songs, sets or whatnot.

Heya Effekted whats good?
Finally have a lil more info for you guys. On the project being worked on, just a lil something before NFTI drops.

Its an EP titled The Calm Before the Storm.
Its allowing us to break rules and try new things, posted up a few snippets of beats that will be on the EP. You'll notice that they are a lil different but yet have that CE sound you know and love..heh
Full versions will be up once the EP drops. Its being used as a promotional tool and to generate a buzz for NFTI.

I also lit a fire under Phane's ass for the other site, so content will be over there as well if you prefer them instead. That will most likely be ready in another week. So stay tuned peeps...

Heya peoplez,
    Yeah i know its been a minute since i last posted here, so i will tell ya whats going on (or as much of it as i can say). Lets get the juicy stuff outta the way first...

Phane and I are working on a EP, just a lil something to wet peoples appetites before the album. Thats pretty much what it is, is a promotional tool. You'll be able to cop that here, no worries. Only a few tracks some where between 4-6 at this point, new stuff, a cover song (well more like a tribute) and possibly another F.U.B.A.R. mix. Thats probably all i can say about it right now, sounding good so far and i'll put a lil snippet of it on here just to give you an idea what we're working on cuz we are adding some sounds that are a lil....unorthodox to our style.

I also know i haven't updated this page in a long time. Reason for that is i need to know how to do add some things, and well that takes time to find out and the trial an error process of seeing if it worked. For example I want to add a bunch of links (not just the one they give you a spot for) where you can follow either CE or myself on different areas of the web, as well as a few other things but lets face it this page lacks some content. At least once we drop that EP ...ooops almost let that one out...i'll hold onto that secret for now...heh

The distraction? Yeah well as expected from people that know how excited I've been about it. GTA4... I'm sorry yall, but it did take me away from working on things for a lil bit, i think im ok now. No, i didn't beat the game, but i guess some of the novelty has worn off and im able now to focus on things and get in some gta time when i can.

Anyhow im outta here for now, now that i have my focus back got things to do...

Hey yall
This time around instead of talking about CE plans and whatnot, i thought we would just go back into our regularly scheduled Words From Wik rants (sort of)...lol

Anyhow if theres one thing ive noticed (but didnt realize how obivious til recently)
funk music makes me happy. I dont mean makes me smile. I mean i could have the shittiest day and you put on some p-funk and i gotta bustamove. For me its a instant mood changer. I dont see how it couldnt be the same of anyone else either, its just a party to waiting to happen. The basslines, the horns, catchy choruses that make you want to shout along. How can you not get caught up in it all?

I get lost up in it, totaly forget about whatever the hell is bothering me. Once i hear that funk, there is nothing else in the world besides me and the music. Give it a try just may work for you, or just make your drive home from work in rush hour traffic just a lil bit better. I know i wouldnt be as pissed in a traffic jam with Not Just Knee Deep playing...heh

im outta here... goin to get funked up
