– New Holland Artisan Spirits, a blossoming arm of New Holland Brewing Company,
is excited to announce that five of its recently released spirits are available
for retailers to purchase throughout the State of ....Michigan..... While the company has been
operating its distillery since 2005, the only spirits it sold until now were
brandies – specifically geared to be sold by the glass within their pub.....

All the while,
the artisan distillers were busy laying down barrels of spirit in their cellar,
preparing for this momentous occasion. The brewery considers itself both
a student and an expert in fermentation, which is a perfect bridge to
distillation – a process that takes that fermented product (wash) and distills
it into various spirits which may or may not be barrel aged. ....

December 2, the first cases of New Holland Artisan Spirits left the distillery,
headed for state-controlled inventory at General Wine and Spirits, their
authorized distribution agent. New ..Holland..

first craft-whiskey, rum and gin. Retailers across the State of ....Michigan.... are now able to
order New Holland Artisan Spirits and on Monday, December 8, the spirits will
be served in their downtown Holland Pub for the first time, which will include

Zeppelin Bend is a culmination of New Holland’s
brewing roots and a growing passion for distilling. A straight-malt whiskey, it
begins with a brewer’s mash coaxing sugars from malted barley into a liquid
wash. This wash is twice distilled and aged in new American oak with a
heavy char. Notes of vanilla and clove arise from the slightly
caramelized spirit leading to a classic American-oak finish.....

Open Houses Scheduled....
New ....Holland.... is hosting a
two-night series of Distillery Open House events on January 8 and
9. January 8 is a ticketed event for industry members only, and
January 9 is open to the public. Both will be held from 4–8 pm at New
Holland’s Pub & Distillery in downtown ....Holland..... The open houses will feature
distillery tours, spirit tasting, complimentary appetizers and an Artist’s
Collection of flasks presented by special guest-artist, Jimmy D’Sintaxe.
At 6:30 p.m. each evening there will be a special toast, celebrating the launch
of New Holland Artisan Spirits.....
