Hello friends,

We're home after much fun, sun, and Austin love. We documented the trip and will post some pictures and videos shortly. I've never experienced anything so beautiful as the free spirit hovering over Austin this weekend past. Walking down the middle of streets, closed off for the festivities, was much like turning a radio knob. Every twenty feet the sounds blowing out of the bars, clubs, and venues alike would blend and focus as each place had its windows and doors open to the music crazed kids parading around, salivating for some new band to discover. That was the magic. That everyone there loved music and, more importantly, cared about SUPPORTING music. Our hearts have been permanently emblazoned with the seering hot branding iron of southern hospitality.
Fitting that our first gig was at a bar called Friend's on Friday.

Buuuut, all the good n bad n the lewd will be put up here soon. We might make one big video compilation, or we might do like three chapters... I'm thinking Gig 1... Gig 2... and then Airports & other Antics. Let us know what you'd prefer if you prefer.

So I'm, yet again, stealing internet.  This time from some Austin hotel.  Hyatt i think... i dunno, the one with the starbucks.  Peeps be drinking coffee while I be makin copies.  I made it!  Came in strollin into the Super 8 motel at 10am to three very excited faces... I'm lying.  They were still passed out.  Apparently i missed a good nite on the town.  And that town is Austin?  Yes.  Awesome Austin.  The weather is 80 and sunny.  Our milky white boston skin shall soon be shades of brown... cept Matt... i'm lookin for lobster red with that guy.
I, and my brothers will be keeping everyone posted.
As long as I can keep stealing people's internet!  BWAHAHAHAAHAHABWAHAHABWAHAHAHA!!!!!!!

Everything's up in the air... well, at least it feels like it.
    I've either been in an airport or on an airplane since 5:00 this morning.  Long story short:  My flight was canceled due to the thickest fog Charlotte, North Carolina has ever seen... probably.  It was bad.  Put it this way, I thought we were still in the clouds as the plane touched down.
    I am on my own.  If you didn't know, we are traveling to Texas to attend the very awesome South by Southwest music festival convention thing.  I'm obviously not taking it seriously enough right now... HEY.  You ever live in a terminal for over 24 hours (excluding our good friend, Tom Hanks)?  It ing sucks.  Hard to think positively when your band is chillin at a comfy Super 8 motel (hotel?) in Austin... while, I, the straggler, get a 3 hour delay which then turns into a cancellation which then turns into a redirect flight to Dallas which becomes an overnight at Dallas International.  After my fourth trip through security my luck caught up with me (arguably, I have a very likely chance to be strip searched with scruff long hair and an even longer last name).  At least I have a sweet starbucks sandwich... CNN (Natasha Richardson... RIP) (AIG... go yourselves)... and this beautiful free 20 minute internet terminal.  Oh yeah... The... oh 20 mins up!

First of all.. thank you to everyone who came out and supported us on Thursday night at the Middle East and Friday night at Cafe 939. We had amazing times at both shows and cannot wait to rock with everyone again.

Currently, we are in the process of mixing our record. We just got back from D.C. and it sounds great. It should be completed within a few weeks. Sit tight.. relax.. do yoga.
