Current mood:stripey

Working on the recordings for the next rattling wall album. I like Jon's title for it: "All Wrong". Hopefully many more shows through the summer.

"The Doctrine of Citizen Wall" is officially released. It can be purchased at FBC in East Lansing and soon at Encore Records in Ann Arbor. If you're elsewhere, email us and we'll figure it out.

"The Doctrine of Citizen Wall" should be coming out soon. Many appearances soon either as the group or with Jon and Will's as yet unnamed side project. Also: the long awaited Mitten State Transmissions cd compilation *is* available from whfr, but is not posted in their online store. Pester them if you want a copy.

UPDATE: sorry, the name of Jon and Will (and Thom)'s project is

The Odds Against Tomorrow

Go and see them and support them.

Very good experience at the Gone Wired Cafe, plus we made many new friends in the form of the Sublingual Ensemble, culminating in a thirteen person orchestra of improvisation and conductions. Top notch.

We now collect material and get ready to record it. It will be previewed in our next shows.

It must be fall. We are actively looking for more shows to fill up our schedule. This fall should also bring a wave of CD releases, if we do it right.

Rattling Wallers will and chris had a great set on WHFR radio this past sunday. Look for part of the performance to be a release on white rose recordings sometime soon.

"We do not play staunch, catchy, hard grooves.  We don't build repetitive rhythms with chorus and verse lines.  We have no color scheme or gimmicks.  We have no record deal.  We are not adored by masses.  We have more instrumentation (sometimes).  We don't sing songs that contain the same set of lyrics everytime we play.  We don't play songs.  We are not a band..."

-James Madaski's response to the question: "why isn't the rattling wall the white stripes?"

Oh we are so excited to bring Fe-Mail to East Lansing! Check out their CD on Important Records. Looks like support will be Will Soderberg, Tovah Olsen, and us.
