1. Who is Mana?
Mana is a japanese musician and designer. He has founded a legendary Visual Kei band Malice Mizer and popular fashion line Moi Meme Moitie, now he has his solo project Moi dix Mois (Me Ten Months).
2. What is Moi dix Mois?
Moi dix Mois is a current Mana's solo project. It was founded on 19th of March(this day is Mana's birthday), 2002. Moi dix Mois is a symphonic metal/visual kei band. Mana is the only one official member in it. Moi dix Mois has released three full-lenght albums (Dix Infernal, Nocturnal Opera, Dixanadu), one mini-album (Beyond the Gate) and some singles.
3. What is Moi meme Moitie?
Moi meme Moitie is a fashion line founded by Mana in 1999. Moi Meme Moitie represents EGL clothes and accesories (Elegant Gothic Lolita), and EGA (Elegant Gothic Aristocrat). It is considered Mana helped to popularise Gothic lolita style among the youth in all around the world.

4. Is Mana a man?
Yes, Mana is a man. He has never said he is a girl, Mana thinks of himself as androgynous.
5. How old is Mana?
Mana has never told his real age, but he should be in his middle thirties or older.  He has mentioned he founded Malice Mizer after he finished school. Malice Mizer was founded in 1992, so Mana could be at least 17-18 years old or in his early/mid twenties then.
6. What is the real Mana's name?
Mana has never told his real name, but there are rumours his real name is Satoru Manabu (or Satou Manabu). Various internet sites give different info about it, anyway, we can't really say his name is Satou Manabu, because he has never proved this.
7. Why Mana doesn't talk?
There are so much rumours why he doesn't do that: he doesn't like his voice, he doesn't like his dialect (i have red some articles about Hiroshima dialect, or Hiroshima-ben and found some interesting info: "Hiroshima-ben suffers from an unfortunate reputation. A few years back there was a movie called "The Yakuza" that was set here, and ever since the local dialect has been associated with the criminal underworld". ) But, anyway, there is not the reason why Mana doesn't speak. Mana says he is shy to speak in audience, that is why he doesn't do that. There were a few recordings where we could hear Mana speaking, but i have found almost all of them were taken down.
8. Who is Shadow X? Is Mana Shadow X?
Shadow X is a mysterious Moi dix Mois member that often sings in death vocals. Nobody has ever seen him, there weren't any photos of him and he never played in Moi dix Mois lives. There are rumours that Shadow X is Mana. During Malice Mizer Era Mana has said he likes to sing in death vocals, so this give a big reason to believe Shadow X is Mana. So can we believe Shadow X a shadow of Mana? Nobody knows.
9. Why Mana wears girls outfits?
Mana says men clothes are boring, that is why he prefers wearing girls outfits.  As many other Visual Kei musicians, Mana-Sama likes extreme style. Mana is a man, but as he says it is not the factor he can't wear a skirt or a dress. In addition, the tradition for men to wear women clothes has came from japanese Kabbuki Theater, where women couldn't perform, so men took women roles. So, japanese people are more open-minded to such things.
10. Is Mana a gay?
Even if Mana wears girls clothes, we can't say he is a gay. Mana has never spoke about his sexual orientation, so we don't know if he is a gay or if he is not. Once Mana has said he likes women.
11. Is Mana married?
Mana has never said he is married. He claims, he has never had relationships with someone. Mana is quite shy, so he doesn't  date with someone often. Mana says, he is not that person who first invites to the date.
12. Who does the make up for Mana-Sama?
Mana-Sama does the make-up by himself. He has said it takes around two hours to do it. His make-up is probably the most interesting thing for all his cosplayers. I have found that it is really pretty hard to do this make-up but it is not impossible to do that. Mana has an artist tallent, which is needed to do such a make-up.
13. What guitars does Mana play?
Mana owns Jeune-filles (eng. young girl), they are guitars made by ESP (japanese guitars) and B.C. Rich Warlock that is very popular among rock or metal bands guitarists, it also has a pretty good sound.
