We're playing Lakeside Lounge tonight Friday April 3 at 11pm and K & M in Brooklyn on Sunday at 7pm. Lakeside is at 162 Avenue B and K & M is at N. 8th and Roebling in Williamsburg.

As promised, we have a new E.P. called Anything Flat, Round or Square and are making this available for free for all our friends on MySpace and our email list.

There will be a series of these in different genres, this one's all original blues tunes.

We wanted to have some fun and do something off the beaten path so we went to the Glasslands and set up a single microphone and recorded these songs to one track analog tape. We had to position ourselves accordingly to mix levels and when we got the take, that was is. It's our attempt at something close to how older recording were made back in the twenties and thirties. Also, it was a chance to show off that you don't need technology to sound good.

Lastly, we have a new E.P. that is done and will be available on all the digital stores in a week or so. It's called Anything Flat, Round or Square and it's three songs, all original blues tunes.
We took a different approach to these songs and recordings. there's a backstory we'll tell you about next week when we officially launch the new E.P. As a special gift to our friends on our email list and MySpace, we're making the recording available as a free download including digital artwork made by our friend and designer Holly Jenkins. Stay tuned for more on that . . .
