I will be fighting Chris Wilson from Team Quest at UFC 82 on March 1st. Chris is a replacement for Akihiro Gono who had to withdraw from the fight dew to a broken hand. Chris is a tough fighter that has been doing well in the IFL. He has a win over UFC veteran Jay Hieron. This should be a great scrap and I have been training very hard for theis new opponent. Make sure you tune in as I try to dish out another beatdown.

As of friday January 18th Akihiro Gono has pulled out of our fight due to a broken hand that will require surgery. The UFC is trying very hard to find an oppenent that is willing to take the fight. There are still 6 weeks till the fight so a replacement will most likely be found in time. I will keep everyone informed on what is going on and if I will be fighting on March 1st.

March 1st at the Nation Wide Arena in Columbus Ohio I will be fighting Akihiro Gono. Gono is probably the best and definatly the most experienced fighter I have faced in my career. Gono started fighting when I was still in high school, he has also faced some of the best fighters in the world. Most of his fights are at much higher weight classes too, even though he is not that big. This will be a very exciting fight and a dificult one to prepare for, but thats the way I like to do things.

Remember, just because you havent heard of a fighter before doesnt mean they arent any good. It means you dont really know that much about fighting.

Greetings and merry christmas form Vietnam. I have been in country for about a week now and I am loving it. It is a very poor country though and it has really opened my eyes to a lot of things. It actually makes me sick to think about the crap people in our country complain about. I hope that I will be able to come back here soon and do something to help. One day here we visited a school for the blind. All the blind children were able to play instruments and sing beautifully. They also can use a computer better than I can and many of them speak english very well. I know plenty of people back home that are perfectly healthy and dont do shit. Not only can they do all these things thay also do charity work for people less fortunate than them. Thats right, blind kids helping people less fortunate than them. If you dont feel like a piece of crap after hearing that then there is something wrong with you. I aslo went to visit orphans, we gave them a small bag of candy, a sandwich for lunch and a uniform for there school. All of this cost less than $3 each kid. It brought so much joy to them, it was amazing to see.

Overall I recommend everyone take a trip to Vietnam. Even if you cant do any charity work here then just coming and spending money and buying crafts will help out these poor people. The craziest thing of all is that even though they are so poor they are also so very happy. Plus it is really fun to bargan with them to get lower prices on things.

I have been training a lot of technique since my last fight. Not in fight shape but feeling good. I will be in attendance at UFC 78 at the prudential center in Newerk, NJ. Cant wait to get to relax and watch the fights from the other side of the fence.

Half way through training camp and I am feeling great. I will be on another level by fight time. I have been getting good training with Swick and Kos who also have fights coming up. Make sure to watch Kos this weekend when he fights GSP at UFC 74. I cant wait for my fight with Diego at UFC 76. This is a great fight for me and even better for the fans. So dont miss it.

Been putting in some good work getting ready for my fight with diego sanchez at UFC 76. It sucks that I have to wait till sept to fight, but its ok, i love training. Id be doing the same thing even if i wasnt getting paid. I have a lot of time to get ready for this fight and i will have pleanty of new tricks up my sleave for my opponent.

I want to congradulate my team mate Trevor Prangly for becoming the new 185lb champ for BoDogfight. He stopped Yuki Kondo in the second round due to a cut. Trevor is a bad dude and should hold the belt for a long time. If you havent heard of him look him up and watch his fights, you WILL be impressed. Cheers to my South-African friend!!!
