Current mood: exhausted
It's been ages so I thought I'd post.
I'm not in the best state in my head at the moment I feel like I'm repressing who I am.
I'm at work so much I've forgotten how to have fun. The state my work is in at the moment makes me obsess about it when i go home. It's pathetic. I need to realise that I can't change the world and realise that what I do is just a job and that no one cares so why should I try to make a difference?
I never see my friends and I'm missing out on so much because whenever I'm off I get called in because work is short staffed. I make plans and don't fulfil them. I'm becoming a hermit.
I can't seem to get out of this rut.

Kaylorz send me this strange bloggy thing! I now have to post 5 things about myself, odd habits that I have. I'm rather quirky anyway so listing five wierd things shouldn't be too taxing. I'm going to tag Emma, Kris, Rachel, Sophie and Tracey.
1) I actually like the smell of petrol...I'm not sure why but I love going to the petrol station!
2) I have no hair but still insist of heating up the straighteners to do my tiny fringe....and I protest to be an eco friendly person!
3) I regularly put tea bags in the fridge and milk in the cupboard
4) I over analyse everything and obsess over how people view me even though I profess not to care.
5) I'm paranoid about public loos!

I'm starting my new job today. As most people who know me well have heard...the studio all went a bit...wrong and I had to leave. I'm not going to bother going into the details. The good news is that I have got myself a job at Meadow Grange Care Home and i start tonight. Hopefully it'll be something I'm good at and enjoy, I'm really looking forward to it. Wish me luck!

So, it's finally happened my hard work and training has all paid off and I have my very own studio! I signed the lease last week but the room needs tiling, a new floor putting in, worktops installing and other decorating related stuff. The nice lady from the local board of health has been to see the tattooist who is already working in the room opposite me and has given his studio the go ahead, he opened yesterday. I plan on opening in a month's time. If anyone reading this would like to come down to the studio for some work, I am capable of performing all piercings including surface and genital work. Please just get in touch with me and I'll book an appointment for you and give you directions. Anyone who is kind enough to help me with decorating, tiling etc. will be rewarded with free piercings and as much tea as you can drink!!!! By the way, the studio is located at 10, The Green, Hasland, Chesterfield.

So, it was my 21st birthday on Monday (20th) Dave, Matt, Emma, Sy, Wayne and myself all went to the Green Room on Friday night. It was mad, totally insane. Sy and Emma bought me glowsticks, we shared them out amongst ourselves an took lots of photos to celebrate the glowness, Emma gave us a brief lesson on how to properly "wangle your glowstick"!!!!!!!!
Hee hee, so, the night is progressing well, Chadd the DJ played excellent music all night and I danced like a maniac for ages. Tas, Kris and his friend Angie turned up, it was great to see everyone but suddenly my glowsticks seemed to be going missing, the whole point, aside fromt he pretty colours was so that the P.U.N.K contingent could find eachother in the pub....but...randoms were wearing my glosticks, grrrr grrrr!!!!
Long story short...had to go up to random people and ask "excuse me....you seem to be wearing my glowsticks...who gave them to you?" In the end all shiny things were returned to their rightful owners and the hilarity resumed.
Back at Daves the party continued but I forgot that I had to go to work in the morning....got there at 10.30am having had no sleep and was still really hyper from the night before. Work went ok, a bit of a chore but never mind. Got back to Daves to the greatest, sweetest gesture ever, my friends had blown up 60 balloons (extra brownie points to Emma who actually blew them up!) put them around the room and made an extremely creative banner wishing me a happy 21st birthday. It was so sweet. I love my friends they really are the greatest.
The party continued throughout saturday night and well into sunday when we all collapsed and decided that we were truly dead!
Monday was great, my actual birthday, I had to work but the girls at work had a whipround for me and bought me cards and a gorgeous bunch of flowers, I never expectyed anything from them, it was such a lovely surprise. My mum and step dad bought me some book tokens which I have put to good use, 4 new Manga titles, The Mammouth Book of Best New Horror and Coldheart Canyon by Clive Barker. Dave is paying for me to finally get my dreads fixed and bought me a gorgeous skirt from Omen, black with silver pinstripe and zips.
It's been a phenomenal birthday, I can't remember the last time I actually had a good birthday. Being with Dave and my dearest friends made everything just perfect!

Hurrah! As of today I'm on holiday, no work for a week.
I'm planning on spending this week looking for a job at a studio, preferably in Derbyshire or South Yorkshire. If anyone knows of any studios with a vacancy for a piercer/scarification artist please could you forward the details on to me. Dave has a new piercing, septum at 1.6mm. I am planning on doing my scrumper today, fun and games! I've been stretching my ear again, my lobe is now at 24mm or so, I've bought a gorgeous piece of buffalo horn and silver jewellery from Wildcat and that's at 25mm so even though I said I'd stop at 22mm I'm off again! It never ends! Hoping to pop into a studio this week to have my genital project started. Oh this is going to be a fun holiday!!!!!

Current mood: creative
I just did a scarification for Dave, my sexy modded boy.
It's an inverted pentagram on the lower left side of his back.
It measures about 5 inches or so, I have completed 8 of the 10 lines with skin removal on each line. There was some swelling and due to the angle of some of the lines the skin removal was quite difficult on some points. We decided to stop at the 8th line because of the swelling that ensued around each line and was making accurate cutting quite difficult.
For Dave. it was his first scarification and the first scarification that I have ever done on anyone really close to me. Obviously I take every piece that I do very seriously but doint a piece on somone you love really up's the stakes to make it as perfect and accurate as possible. To be honest I was pretty nervous about doing it, especially as we were situated in his bedroom with failing light and the prospect of his mum walking in and making me jump at any moment!
Once I've finished the design and extended some of the original cuts I'll post some pictures of the completed piece and updates of the healing process. It should take about 3 weeks to heal but I might, with Daves permission brand over the original design to create a more defined and even scar. With skin removal, especially on such a delicate design there could be problems with getting effective keloiding, this would be resolved with a brand over the original design, not to mention that the sensation of a brand over scar tissue would be out of this world!!!!!!!!!!
