SO, WE WERE ON OUR WAY TO OUR SHOW IN OXNARD ON FRIDAY.  WE WERE NORTH BOUND GOING DOWN THE GRADE AND OUR TIRE BLEW OUT.  WE LOST CONTROL AND FISH TAILED ACROSS ALL FOUR LANES OF TRAFFIC.  AFTER DOING A FULL 540 DEGREE SPIN THE CAR PITCHED OVER AND WE ROLLED THREE TIMES BACK ACROSS ALL FOUR LANES OF TRAFFIC AND ENDED UP RIGHT SIDE UP WITH OUR TIRES ON THE GROUND, AND THE BACK OF THE VOLVO IN THE CENTER DIVIDER. LUCKILY WE ALL ESCAPED WITH ONLY MINOR INJURIES AND WERE EVEN ABLE TO MAKE IT TO OUR SHOW LATER THAT NIGHT.  UNFORTUNATELY WE WERENT ABLE TO MAKE IT TO BURNT RAMEN THE FOLLOWING NIGHT. BUT WE ARE ALREADY WORKING ON BOOKING A MAKE-UP SHOW AT RAMEN IN THE NEXT MONTH OR SO, SO KEEP YOUR EYES OPEN.  THANKS FOR ALL OF THE SUPPORT.

Alright ya'll! Shit got recorded, Art got finished, We got shows comin'! The debut LP aptly titled "Symptoms Of Youth"  by yours truly is available to the public on June 20th courtesy of Destroy All Records! We're very excited that we finally made a record after playing our asses off for 3 years. Come on out to The Echo on June 6th to see what it sounds like. It'll be available in your local record store most likely (California!). If you live elsewhere you can always grab one off our new website (which should be done in the next 2 weeks), or off of Interpunk! Thanks to all our friends and crew who stepped in there and helped make this happen.

We recorded and mixed a 14 song full length record last week up in Oakland at House Of Faith Recordings, with Mr. Bart Thurber manning the controls.

The recording was done on one inch 16 track tape, and it smokes!  We still need to get it mastered and do the layout, but look forward to a CD release in late Spring, and a vinyl release after that.

Bad Reaction is currently seeking an artist to create cover art for our upcoming full length release.

We have the ideas, we need someone to execute them.

If you or someone you know can draw comic-style art (Sin City would be a good point of reference), get in touch with us and show us some samples.

Thanks,

Ben / Bad Reaction

We played on Friday at Alex's Bar in Long Beach and last night at the Knitting Factory with Smogtown and Duane Peters Gunfight. Thanks to the other bands for being cool and playing good music. Special thanks to the SaMo High kids who came out on Sunday. Ben is telling his mom everything. No thanks to the retired stripper who was doing her routine in front of us during our entire set on Friday.
