Once upon a time, while sitting in line at the drive-thru of a local fast food joint, Alain Matz began to recite the old nursery rhyme, "This little piggy…" Unsure of how it crept into his mind or why he was saying it, he promptly turned it into something he might be able to make a buck off of. Could this childish nursery rhyme become the next Name Brand and Pop Culture phenomenon? There was only one way to find out…
Alain, knowing he had the drawing talents of a drunk baboon, called his good friend and animation maven, Edward Artinian. Edward, who was already quite accomplished at drawing sexy girls, brought Alain's concept to life by mixing 1940's pin-ups with his own anime-inspired style. The Little Piggys…were born.
But where to go from there? Knowing a great idea is only worth anything if people know about it, Alain asked his friend Natalie Zillner for help in figuring out how to get the name out to the people. Besides designing the look of the logo and laying out the tone and style of the brand, Natalie brought in Lizette Cueva to help market and brand the line. With the concept and art in place, Natalie and Lizette developed a grass roots marketing strategy to bring the people of the world what they really need…Little Piggys.
