It's the time of year when we all reflect on what we are thankful for. I have so much to be thankful for in my life, and I want to share two of these things with you.

Heather Fitzsimmons started out as a minor character in Lane to Heaven. Her story was so compelling and her emotions were so powerful, I became riveted by her. When Lane to Heaven ended, I knew Heather's journey wasn't over. She's seventeen and still figuring out who she is, what she wants, and where she belongs. Path to Popular is one of many steps for Heather as she navigates her way through life. I hope you enjoy reading her story as much as I enjoy writing about her.
