The Power of Lists
How Lists Can Make Life Easier
..>..>..>..>
..> | I grew up with a mother who often made lists. She would check things off and always told me how it made her feel more organized and accomplished when she could see her list get smaller. While some lists are never ending, as with 'to-do' lists or 'I want' lists, some lists do have an end, and when that end is in sight there is a feeling of immense empowerment that words can't adequately describe. |

Lists Can Empower You
Getting in the habit of making lists will empower your life in a way that you have to see to believe. I have a notebook where I am constantly making lists of every imaginable kind, from things I need at the grocery store to ideas for gifts, to ideas for stories I'd like to write to what I need to get done the next morning. You will find that writing down what you want and need to accomplish puts things in perspective like nothing else. If you can look at what needs to be done you feel more in control of it, instantly!
Lists Can Keep You Organized

..> If you constantly make lists, you will be more organized than you ever thought possible. When you lists your needs, wants, or timelines for projects at work and at home, your words (whether placed in random fashion or in order of importance) will help you make headway when it sometimes seems like you don't know which way is up. I never pack for a trip without a detailed list of what I'm taking with me. I have a master list of things I always take, and then I add clothing, shoes, etc. This makes getting ready to jet much easier than if I had to start from square one each and every time I left town. | |

Lists Save Time and Energy
If you have a list of things you want to do or pressing things that have to get done by a certain time that day, you are way ahead of the game; this way you can use your free time wisely and know exactly what you have to get done and how long you have to do it. A master list for cleaning each week, each month or each season will take away stress and strain over what to do when, what tools you will need, etc, and it will take the guess work out of who does what chore. Hey, if the list says it's your turn to clean the bathroom, buck up and do it!!
I feel very fortunate to have learned the art of lists from my Mum, a highly organized and efficient lady. I find that lists make me feel in control of many aspects of my life in a way that is easy to master and perpetuate on a daily basis. Try lists for a week or so and see if they don't make your life easier. I'll bet you find that you don't know how you got along before you became a 'lister,' as I affectionately call it. You can make lists about anything, including what you love about yourself and your life. Lists are easy and a trick you can pass on to friends and family. They will certainly thank you for the tip!

Personal HDCMPR Note: For things to manifest in your life such as your career, relationships, etc. Write a list of thing you want and need and decree the highest and best. Meditate, Pray, and allow it to manifest. Don't stress over or focus on the lack thereof, and see the blessings manifest in your life. It may not be what you want BUT it will be what you need and it will be in the highest and best.
