There are now over 50 downloadable MP3s on my website, each costing a mere 33p. So, let's just take a moment to think about that...

You could take your shiny hard-earned 99p and pop down to McFucks for a McShit burger and simultaneously fuck up your insides while fucking up the planet and supporting a frighteningly powerful corporation, OR, you could buy 3 environmentally-friendly MP3s from me!

My MP3s are not gonna give you McConstipation, they're not gonna rot in your intestine for days, they're actually good for the planet as they have no packaging, you'll be supporting an "independent" (i.e. broke) musician, and, they actually sound pretty OK too!

The choice is yours: McSick or Music?

Thank you for your time and consideration.
Ray

PS. If you absolutely have to spend your 99p on a burger, for fuck's sake, at least spend it at V&M, OK?

The debut EP from 12 Ton Method, titled "The Art of Not Falling", will be released worldwide on February 18th through Copro Records. The name of the EP references a quote on atonality by the twentieth–century composer, Arnold Schoenberg, who is the band's inspiration and influence. All their music is composed using the 12 Ton Method, which is Ray Holroyd's updated version of Arnold Schoenberg's "method of composing with twelve tones which are related only with one another" that he formally introduced in 1923.

"The Art of Not Falling" was produced and recorded at Royd Studios by Ray Holroyd, mixed at Metropolis Studios by Rohan Onraet (Machine Head, Slipknot) and mastered at Metropolis Mastering by Andy 'Hippy' Baldwin (The Mission, Massive Attack). The EP features former 12 Ton Method drummer, Adrian Erlandsson (ex-Cradle of Filth, ex-At The Gates), as well as a guest performance on "Justified" by Joel Levy, the original 12 Ton Method vocalist. Also featured on the EP is a remix of "Crucify Me" by Duncan Wilkinson (remixer of Dope Stars Inc., Chemlab). American tattoo artist, John M. Rhodes, created the unique artwork on the front and back covers, and the 4-page booklet also includes the lyrics.

Pre-order your copy now for only £4.99 (with free delivery) from HMV.com

II. Justified (Op. 3) (featuring Joel Levy)

How many labels are brave enough to sign a 1920s Metal band? Not many, that's for sure! Call me cynical, but when we were shopping our EP around in late 2007, it almost seemed like the music industry was afraid of a little bit of Dodecaphonic Metal. I mean, come on! What next?

However, there was one fearless label that immediately stepped up with an offer we simply couldn't refuse. A thousand emails and one meeting later, I am extremely proud to announce that 12 Ton Method has signed to the courageous Copro Records. The Spirit of Arnold Schönberg salutes Copro for supporting 12 Ton Method's fight to secure equal rights for all twelve notes.

Keep it Zwölfton!

Ray Holroyd
