Long overdue update...

I've been deep in the trenches writing a couple songs this past month.  One that popped into my head one day and will probably be my next song finished is called "Skankapotamous"  It's kinda about a big, skanky, butterface girl you might meet at the club.  her breath smells like parliament lights; you know she's the number one ride at the jersey shore.  and at first you are repelled.  but they she draws you in.  she buys you some tequila shots with her FEMA debit card.  next thing you know, it's 6am and she's kicking you outta her apartment -- she's gotta bring the kids to daycare. that's when you realize you are in love.  in love with a skankapotamous.

i'm still spending my days writing and making beats for a more slick demo.  writing songs is a process that takes way longer than u initially project...especially when you're as anal about lyrics as i am.

some good news is that i secured Rockwilder to do a beat for this album.  you may recognize his name as he produced the remake of Lady Marmalade with Christina Aguilera, Missy, etc a few years back.  He also did "Dirrty" by Christina and songs for Fabolous, Redman, Jay-Z and lots more.

The rest of the songs are co-produced by myself and Jay Deasel, who worked on about 75% of the stuff on my 2005 mixtape. 

I got a spot performing at NXNE, which is Canada's biggest music festival.  If you are in the industry and will be there, please let me know as I'd love to do as much networking as possible while I'm there.
