This band are truly RAD. With a capital R, A and D.
Even our mums like them, and that's saying something.
To be perfectly honest, you'd be COMPLETELY insane not to like this band.
After listening to them once, the songs will be in your head for ages, we know this for a fact, because the other day we found ourselves singing "So much salt we threw" over and over and OVER. So yeah, catchy songs :D
So, we LOVE these people, they make us SMILEEEE, laugh and cry (good crying) :]
Spaceships, Toast Houses, 3D glasses, sweets, Pez, Killing spaceship owners, zombie killing, Chicken nuggets, RAD, rubix cubes, badges, multicoloured hair, the number 5 looking like a wheelchair, SUBWAY, mullets, bubblegum and big pants.
All of these stupidly, random, crazy words/phrases may seem... stupid, random and crazy to you now, BUT!

howdy, Sol here. just posting new bloggage to update on a few things. first of all, and probably the most awesome thing to happen to anyone in the world ever(to me anyway) is that Daryl and Kelle have moved into their new house!! message me if you want the address, because everyone is invited to their housewarming barbecue/bamitzva. they don't know his of course but there will be a bouncy castle, midget acrobats and cliff divers.

secondly, myself and Daryl are putting every waking moment we have into writing and finding inspiration to do so. We have new songs covering the following subjects:

Getting fucked and getting arrested because you are sexually frustrated and unhappy and have nothing better to do, and how lame it is having police cars outside your house every day of the fucking week.

How much I adore a certain girl and why.

Cheating on somebody and hating myself so much for it that I fantasise about burning her house down. Until we get back together and I hate myself (and her) even more.

How fucking rad it is being in this band despite playing to the soundman for 90% of our gigs. I wouldn't have it any other way.

so look out, we will be recoding sometime in the next few months putting our studio time we won to (hopefully) good use. We have taken off the EP sampler from our player, as it in no way reflects us anymore. We really can't wait to really get the ball rolling with Ollie, he has put so much into the band and has done fuckloads for us.... including pretty much single-handedly winning battle of the bands after being in the band for a week and playing only one gig. now we have the initial 'omg we have a new drummer and a shitload of gigs to play' out of the way, we will be chillaxing and putting everything we have into getting our shit together.

so thanks everyone for the ongoing support. every one of you who bothers to add us, comment us, buy tshirts and come to our gigs means more than the world to us so keep it up!!

Yay! We won!

We'd just like to say thank you to everyone that came and showed us support at the BOTBs last week.

All the bands that played were totally awesome and we were so shocked that we won!

Thanks again and keep an eye out for some new material that we're going to record with the studio time we won!

Hi Everyone

Just a bit of news; We have parted ways with our drummer James Richardson. We decided it wasn't working out and called it a day with him. We would like to publicly thank him for the time has given us and everything he has done for Cherry Blossom Melodies. We wish him all the best with any future projects.

This is not the end!!

We will be looking for a new drummer and writing new material. All gigs will go ahead as planned and we hope to take the band to the next level!

Cherry Blossom Melodies are no longer touring America in July due to Highland Circus no longer being a band, therefore leaving us unable to finish booking the tour alone. (as it was such short notice)
 We're really sorry to the people we're letting down and the tour will definately be rescheduled a later date so keep checking back for more information!
Also we would like to reassure everybody that contributed money to the tour that it will be in safe keeping until the dates are rescheduled.
Once again we're really sorry this isn't going ahead sooner but its unfortunatly out of our control.
