We were hoping for some feedback from our listeners. If you have the time and are so inclined please write/post/email us your favorite Japancakes song(s). It's a little experiment we are trying. The more input the better...such as why you like the song , certain parts that stand out, what you think of when you hear it, visuals, all that stuff.

Hi everyone. So here's the latest on Japancakes. We are officially attempting to make/use myspace/website/technology in general to help us out a bit. Been a few years since our last album. We have two new records coming out on Darla Records this fall. Giving Machines is on iTunes now, and will be in stores Oct. 9. The other record is a complete cover of My Bloody Valentine's, Loveless, which will be out in stores Nov. 2007. We have been recording most of the spring/summer, and hope to play some shows in the late fall/winter. Some of our songs have been picked up by film, tv, and web, so things are going pretty well right now. Hopefully, keeping up with this blog, plus our website, www.japancakesmusic.com (still in progress, but up soon), will keep us in touch with everyone out there who listens, writes in, questions, all that stuff. So, hope this finds everyone in good health, etc and enjoy the new records. Look forward to seeing you on the road. Later.
