Coombeshead Studios are once again offering the recording of ONE FREE SONG to help out some students gain recording experience. If you require a song recorded, contact us via Myspace and we will do what we can to ensure you get yourselves a free session.


Slots available are:

Tuesdays 11am till 1pm or 1:00pm till 3:20pm
Thursdays 9:30am till 11am or 11:00am till 1pm
Fridays 1:30pm till 3:20pm

Please note we are looking for bands with the typical drums, bass, guitars, and vocals kind of setup, give or take - sorry no solo artists at this time!

We require bands who have a PREPARED, WELL REHEARSED SONG - no unprepared bands please.


If the song is not yet fully written or all each member is not well rehearsed, you are not ready! The song may be your own or it may be a cover, it doesn't matter.


We can supply a drumkit (bass / snare./ hihat / 3 toms / crash / ride). If you require a double bass pedal or extra cymbals note that you will need to bring these along. We can provide up to 4 cymbals stands. Bass guitar can be DI'd straight into the desk so a bass amp is not required. Guitarist will be required to bring all their own equipment.

PLEASE REMEMBER THAT COOMBESHEAD STUDIOS IS A DIVISION OF COOMBESHEAD COLLEGE AND THEREFORE YOU WILL BE WORKING ON SCHOOL GROUNDS WITH CHILDREN ABOUT.
WE DO NOT PERMIT SMOKING ANYWHERE ON THE PREMISES (PLEASE SMOKE IN YOUR CAR OR IN THE NEARBY STREETS AROUND THE CORNER).
STRICTLY NO ALCOHOL OR ILLEGAL SUBSTANCES ARE TO BE BROUGHT ONTO THE PREMISES. IF YOU BRING DRUGS OR ALCOHOL YOU WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE WITH IMMEDIATE EFFECT.
