there's something insidious lurking in the heart of this town, some force that compells otherwise normal assholes to act in even more ridiculous ways than would normally be afforded their race. these same forces tore down the buildings for urban renewal, built the water street parking deck, instigated the holocaust, among even more destestable acts that i won't go into here. this is the only place i've ever been to where you literally cannot drive anywhere without seeing some arse fucking with somebody using their vehicle, or worse. the traffic is bad, yes, but the traffic is worse elsewhere. perhaps it is just the close proximity of an inordinate number of uneducated "folks." with an inordinate number of W stickers. i gave up on fucking with people in traffic, even the fucking assfuckers. i just take their picture. speaking of... things i wish i had (better) pictures of: - the marine who, having been ejected from the soapbox, tried in vain to break the glass door with his fist. video would be better. - the bum under the 8th st. bridge the other day. - Lee chasing a small bird out of the warwick center. - the building across the street from the soapbox catching (slightly) on fire. - the girl responsible for the previous entry.
