Well as some of you may or may not know I like carbon fiber as a building material and as a technology, and I found a website thats all about carbon fiber "Carbon Fiber Gear" they have some great news about cool new carbon fiber stuff, and then I found they had an associated "WebShop" and I was looking for a carbon fiber iPhone case so I figured since I'm shelling out for postage I'd have a look and see what else they had and (other than some re-he-heeely expensive stuff) I found a cool metal and carbon fiber bracelet, so I ordered the two together...

iPhone Case: Link
Bracelet: Link
one of the super expensive things :P : :O omg that's a lot of $$$

A couple of weeks later it arrived so first I unpacked the iPhone case perfect and very cool, then I opened the bracelet and to my dismay the carbon fiber strip was peeling away from the metal... so I sent an e-mail to the people at the website, (and after sorting out some e-mail problems) I sent a picture to the guy who said he'd check with the manufacturer.

(photo upload not working)

The next day he'd gotten back to me, saying; we've sent a new one off to you today (cool right) then the e-mail went on to say; feel free to keep the old one and maybe try glueing the strip back down   now that's customer service (I couldn't find any good glue so I just used a glue stick for now until it peels off again and I find some real glue) now that is what I call customer service .

UPDATE: I've received the new bracelet and all is good :D

I finally had my first gig yesterday, at a retirement village opening (I know it doesn't sound very exiting) but it wasn't as boring as it sounds, I was singing some jazz pieces with a band I've never even met but it went fairly well considering (I do have to give the band credit, they were great even having not seen the music before), the PA was a little annoying because I was hearing myself after a delay, and everyone loved it (contrary to how well I thought I did)

I went to the Michael Bubele concert at the entertainment centre on monday, It was an awesome show, It wasn't a formal occasion at all, and the warm up act "Naturally 7" (http://www.myspace.com/naturally7) were amazing, there an a-cappella group but rather than just standard vocals they had different people creating the sounds of different instruments (like a beat boxer) including guitar, bass, drums, harmonica, flute, and a singer

After the show I noticed a group of people lining up at the back so I figured I would too, and ended up bumping into some people my mum knew which kept us occupied until eventually the man himself came out so sign stuff for everyone (I got my ticket stub signed) and me being the attention seeker I am I deiced to start singing "Feeling Good" (one of his songs for those less informed) as he got to my section of the line, and guess what Michael joined in, It was a great night.

As most of you would know I'm not 18 yet (but will be in september) but I was invited to a friends party at the london tavern so I decided not to shave just to be safe, most people were worried that I wouldn't get in (not me though) even my mum, yep she was fine with me sneaking in under-age (I'm as surprised as you are) but I just rocked up gave passing pleasantries to the bouncer and walked straight in.

As most of you would also know I don't normally post blogs, but I'm posting this one for 2 reasons, 1, I thought it was quite funny, and 2, I'm really board

I have finally seen a Koenigsegg CCR at the 'Murray walkers extreme machines' exhibition at the clipsal. This car truly has a soul. Unfortunately there had been a recall on one of the parts and the owner hadn't had time to sent said part back yet so the engine caught fire (poor guy) but at-least the damage was minor and he has one of the new CCX's on order that should be here in march.

and for all those who prefer the Bugatti Veyron the specs on the Koenigsegg website are wrong and the cars are actually alot more powerful (1000-1200 BHP) and alot faster 0-100 under 2.9 and 420Kph
